In a country with known madness for Cricket even mediocres are considered for Bharat Ratna and not Players like V.Anand who has brought glory to the nation are simply considered as side dishes. It is pathetic.

Unlike the crickets stars this kind of consistent winners are not even heard.. largely due to apathy to sports and games by govt

Chess, the game of brains is never getting its due in this country

Being Hockey our national Game, we havent seen India many times a world champion and Cricket which is watched by several crores of people in India and invested(gambled) multi crore in it, This man Mr. viswanathan Anand is a silent warrior. He has done marvellous records and this is one of such glories in his cap.

It is a FANTASTIC Achievment considering the fact that this nation is FANATIC for the ever losing sport cricket!
It is clearly evident that there are right now only 10 CONGRAGULATORY messages here when ANAND has become a champ and there are over 350 messages when India have lost miserably in T20!!!
