Very lazy game
by hiral joshi on Jul 08, 2010 12:19 PM  | Hide replies

Yesterday's match was very lazy, Uruguay-Dutch match was electrifying where players fighting to clinch the ball. Here both the teams were playing impotent football which finally resuted in 1-0 in favor of Spain due to unbelivable header. I was expecting penalty shootout, the way they were playing.

Plz stop the abusal.. Germans are no more Nazis. Don't be a racist.. In that case.. Spaniards had columbus to find out India so they can conquer it. Spain wanted to conquer us just by listening from traders how prosperous our country is.. Germans should have won yesterday's match as I wished they lift the world cup after their re-unification in to a single country..

after seeing yesterday match one thing is quite sure

that betting is not only in cricket but also in football

germany did not attack at all they were only defending, against argentina the team was totally different

bookies rule

I don't know how dumb you are but if you use your common sense just think why on earth would a great team like germany with a good chance to take the cup throw everything away like fame, glory, money and risk anger, hatred among fans to lose a crucial semifinal match just to make a few dollars in betting? These players are already multimillionaires and are very motivated, focussed and patriotic. maybe you would sell ur soul for a few bucks but these guys are not desperate. They are already rich, they are playing for glory and greatness something which you will never understand. Its just that they could have been bit overconfident like their fans and spain absolutely dominated them by playing better football. Also they were over rated and lot of hype after they beat england and germany, but the fact is spain was better in midfield and attack than germany

could not agree more. Not only this match, but most of the matches of you have seen, you get the same feeling of match fixing.
In cricket, its very obvious. Only indian subcontinent play this lazy game

Interesting finals
by Joel martins on Jul 08, 2010 11:11 AM

Two of the best three teams in the tournament are in the finals now. Both teams play a very entertaining brand of football. I hope that we get to see a very exciting game.
Most of the time these matches are boring.
Every one tries to play safe.
I doubt if anyone will complain if their team loses with a fight. So I hope the better sense prevails with the team and the team mangament and we get to see an exciting match worthy of a World cup final.

Dutch has upperhand. Their game is very aggressive while defense is strong too. Spain lacks attack but defense is good. Yesterday's match was very boring.
