Orange mischief or La Roja brilliance ?
by Bala on Jul 08, 2010 03:48 AM

Spain deserves a place in final. Dutch is more of simulations and faking injuries. La Roja so far got just two yellow cards through out the tourney.

Let us see what will prevail in the final: Orange mischief or La Roja brilliance.

Thank God and Thanks to Spain that we will not get bored with German football in the final. Spain and Netherland both have some craftwork in their football genre. Gonna be battle between Sneider and Casilas!

WE NEED INDIA IN WORLD CUP
by deepak on Jul 08, 2010 03:29 AM  | Hide replies

India has been playing football for 100 years..the Calcutta football league is as old as any European league and has seen amazing footballers like Chuni Goswami, Jarnail Singh, PK Banerjee, Ahmed Khan and others. We need to place Indian football on a war footing and be in world cup.

You can try war footing, peace footing or Satyagraha footing - without basic element of sheer raw running speed, nothing else will matter. Have you seen Indian footballers run?

Then there is the matter of lush grounds for sliding tackles etc... just full sized grounds itself are in short supply... I guess the footing does not matter.

Netherlands and Spain
by Another Critic on Jul 08, 2010 02:56 AM  | Hide replies

Always liked Netherlands and Spain after Argentina. I also like England for some reason, though they never had a great futbol team.

I hate Brazil and Germany. I hate any team that is rival to Argentina...all due to my love for Maradona all these 24 years I know him. I support Argentina even today because of Maradona though they hardly play according to fans' expectations.

Germans are sore losers in this match...why do they need to defeat Argentina in QF if they could not get past Spain in SF....losers.

Netherlands or Spain, new World Champion in the making. I think both teams deserve to be in the final. Great final match ahead...Yay Yay.

Yes, I love ARGENTINA very much and it is because of Maradona and Messi. I think that some thing went wrong with their match with GERANY and they lost. I still can't believe that how it had happened. There is some thing went wrong. I atill feels that Argentina team is the best in the world. Most of the ARGENTINE PLAYERS PLAY WITH SPANISH CLUBS IN LA LIGA. SO they knows the spanish style of fotball

Enjoy and better and clean football.

Actually Germ did not deserve and 4:1 and 4:0 win. Had it been 3:2 and 2:1 Germ could have been in a better shape. In fact, Germ scored goals freely despite of having poor passing game in the middle.

1. Paul the Great Octopus was right with his Prediction.

2. I expected even German's to win as they have speed, foot to foot Passwork and don't waste their time in dribbling, have advantage of their Height compared to Spanish Players which comes handy in field defence, headding the ball in field as well as in Goal Post & had 4-0 win on the back of mind to boost the morale.
3. Same as yesterday, as I am retiring this month end and have to compllete a load of work, including at home as I am a widower & take care of Physically Challenged daughter that too with morning till evening part tme servant help and have to leave for office at 0730 Hrs, I after positioning to watch the great contest, fell asleep but got up before the solitary goal.

4. Frankly speaking, I could not watch the game but I was wary to believe the the Forecast in to to.
4. Paul the Great Octopus was right with his prediction this time also. I am told so far all te predictions have have been right all through this World Cup.

5. Despite Germans loss, I have great regard for their Game.

6. The contest must have been Awesome, I will watch the Replay.

7. Congratulations to Spanish Team and Good luck for next time for Germans.

8.Somebody raised the concern regarding Indian Football team rated 122/123. It is a matter of shame for such a big Country. We. the Government should try to Cultivate this game again at Grass Root level by Providing the needed Facilities and Incenti

Though Argentina lost, they did enough to guarantee Germany's exit from WC. First, they lost by a huge margin so that Germany become overconfident and second Thomas Mueller getting second yellow card to miss the Spain Match.

team can not win always only through counter attack....
by Ramachandran KA on Jul 08, 2010 02:38 AM  | Hide replies

It is proved that one can not win every time only through counter-attack..... its not that easy against such a strong team like spain.....

Spain's ball possesion is amazing...its like a treat to watch...their contol over the ball in midfield and towards the goal area is amazing...

Come on Spain...You are the real Champions....Reat the 2008 Euro Magic again....

but this time in the final ,Spain has to contest against the tough contender than any other current teams....But Finally,2010 Cup belong to spain......

Its La'Roja's Day....

Bad Luck- Argentina
by MICHAEL RAJ on Jul 08, 2010 02:29 AM  | Hide replies

By looking today's German match, it looks that Argentines were unlucky.
The unexpected 1st goal without much stress and action, Germany got more advantages from Argentines. Messy, you are really so unlucky for getting score on the Net.
