Dutch has upperhand. Their game is very aggressive while defense is strong too. Spain lacks attack but defense is good. Yesterday's match was very boring.

Congratulation to Spain. Their team effort gave them divident. All eleven players had played. No superstar but all essential. Hope they will keep it up and lift World Cup soccer title.

Goal Keeper

Spain goal keeper Casillas was the hero for me. He saved and pushed the ball in time whenever Germans threatened to score.
Vigil and good anticipation from him made defenders work easy.

Argentina by a margin of atleast 10-0.......so in a way, the Germans did the Argentines a favor by butchering them in the quarters itself........

you must have lost your balls to say that!argentina had an off day and plenty of refereeing decisions were against them.also choice of players were not good.germans ran out of luck-against england if it had been 2-2,then they might have lost that as well.

Idiot,
Argentina are a third grade team that can't even hold its own against an abverage German team.....what is the use of having supposedly world class players like Messi, Tevez, higuan when you can't do well on the world stage??

think before you write...Argentina might have more class but what matters is mental toughness which the Germans had and the Argies didn't.....period!!

GERMANY BACK TO SQ. 1

In a crucial match the Germans withdrew to their boring old style. I think they feared too much of the Spanish spearheads! Or did they forget the attacking game they were pursuing hitherto? Their defeat reminds me
of Indian Cricket teams fate in Finals!

The Spaniards prevail when it comes to football. The German style is "pass forward, never pass it backwards, and score."
Spain's style, "Pass the ball around, when you see the tiniest opening, go for it, if you don't, pass it around a bit more, and find that opening again!"

Spainish football is awesome! I knew that we still had to see the real Spanish team in the World Cup, and there they put everything in this match. If the luck factor played a part, it would've been 3-0!
