Argentina players lost their cool and always tried to score goals from centre whereas Germans carried the ball fwd from flanks and a swift pass to other player was amazing.
Messi is overhyped he was always covered by 3 players he was no good. Tavej tried but it was no good. Germany may lift the trophy... Good luck to them

when ur 1 goal down and into second half, what do u expect? Defend?
Argentina was attacking with all their players, but could not go near germany's goal often. Germany utilized the opportunites and scored, esp the 2nd and 3rd, u think those goals r not good?
Messi, Higuain and Tevez were not coming back to help on defense...
Many a times I saw Klose and Podolski helping back on defense against this same Messi or Di Maria.
The only up and down player for Argentina was Angel Di Maria. Oh and BTW Pastore seemed far better than that extremely slow Higuain who is another club level star.

Imagine the following incident which happened in Berlin close to where I was, last week.
A Restaurant owner had hung up a huge Black,Red and Gold flag from his rafters and at night a much of crazy Leftists/Marxists came to tear up and burn that flag. We punched them of the rooftops which they had climbed.
We are having fights like this all over Berlin where idiotic Left-minded youth are interrupting celebrations and accusing us of being Neo-Nazis.
We beat them up so badly that blood was streaming down their heads into their eyes.
We used everything from broken chairs to bear mugs. I almost stuck a chair leg right through the mouth of one of these idiots.
I mean Diego Maradona won with players like Valdano and Burruchaga - no great names. He was a general on the field.
Can anyone who has watched varios WC's say that Messi dominates the game like a Maradona, Zidane, Socrates, Zico. Socrates lost 3-2 to Italy in 1982 but even on that the man was a giant on the field.
Even amongst forwards ( the above mentioned are midfielders ) I would say a Romario, Ronaldo(real one from Brasil), Careca, Cannigia, Klinsmann, Linekar have seemed to me far superior to Messi.

football has changed over the years, my fried. maradona in today's time, cant say ! i have been supporting argentina since 1990 .. i know it hurts .. but u'll have to accept the truth.

Yeah Barcelona... LOL. This is what you don't get. Even on BBC boards people readily admit that club soccer is a lower level than International WC soccer.
Heck even Dunga the Brasilian coach said that Ganso and Neymar who outplayed Robinho at Santos are still not ready for this level.
International football is a different higher level ballgame.

Mate U have your opinion but if U see the way Messi has been unselfish while being creative & setting goals for his mates to score. Be honest to the talented youngster. Argentina had the best attacking football on display in this world cup but the also had the worst defence in this world cup so far. U cant blame a single player. Many of the goals scored by Argentina have been setup by Messi. He was always marked by 2-3 defenders always in this tournament. As U have seen Argentina did have a chance of coming bck after 1-0 but they didn't have luck with them. He's still young give him time to bloom & he'll payback for the faith reposed on him. There were 10 other guys also. Remember its a team game.

Although I agree with what some of what you said - esp the defense part - two things stand out.
Messi, Tevez and Higuain did not help out on defense That is too many upfield. Left too many holes in the back.
I also do not agree with if Argentina wins it is primarily because of Messi's brilliance and if they lose then it is a team game.
