German looks invincible right now. Right now it looks like the only way to defeat them by scoring a goal before they do, that puts them under pressure and it has been proved by Slovakia. If any team wants to win against these germans, then this is first thing first they have to do, else the chances will be bleak for the opponent.

Very quick in correcting... That too incorrect.. It was Serbia and they scored just after Klose was sent off. Match was played on 18th June at Port Elizabeth.
Its time that everybody should remember and always remember that its all about Germany.. and no one else. Its not abt Messi who is nothing but fishy.. never did anything.. its only klose who is our hero..from the last 3 world cups.. and will continue forever.

One thing we must remember that there is no other national team with more consistent performance other than Germany. In almost every tournament they are reaching the semi-final and that talks about their talent and dominance in the world of football. Though I love Brazil to the core but can't deny brilliance of Germany.

Definitely.. they are genius and superior in all respect.. Noone can beat them, i expect a final between brazil and Germans, but its quite unfortunate that brazil exit so early.. any way i request everyone should now pray for Germans..

MD..Our Hero? Tell ur hero.. not our.. We are Indian, and respect our heroes.. And, wht a stupid thing, to pray for Germany? Have u ever prayed for ur own countrymen irrespective of their work towards our society. Have you prayed our CRPF jawans who are facing toughest time in most Maoist control jungle. It's better stop being crazy, go out of proportion. Tum Das naam pe ek bada dhaba ho, get rid off this first.

Soccer is not India's cup of tea. Accept that. We have seen how BaichungBhutia was in the benches of Bury club in English Premier League!! There was a match between India and PSV Eindhoven, which is a low-level club, during 90s and India was whitewashed with goal differences of 5 and above!! Athleticism and stamina is very vital which needs to be ingrained from childhood!!!

My dear, India was Champion in this continent called Asia from 1950 to 1962 and gracefully that golden period lusted till 1970.. Later on it started to decline.. Thanks to AIFF for that... Hockey require more stamina and athleticism, but atleast we are in the international picture as far as Hockey is concerned... so, Athleticism and stamina is not matter, what matter is approach our sports governing bodies which screwed the basics itself... it is true for all the disciplines

PSV Eindhoven is not a low level club, it is one of the best football clubs of Netherlands.

Vijay Mallya is already sponsoring East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. But that wont help. The game has to be played with passion from childhood and not from adulthood of 15 plus years!! It should start as early as 6 or 8 full time with studies being only part time and that too if necessary. Are there enough soccer clubs which takes in tiny tots?? Can Indians do it?? NO WAY!!!

Why can't you develop a CAN DO attitude for a change ?
Try to have it despite overwhelming odds and your life will be more colorful.

Groud to play is not really a criteria. Look at the countries like Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria.. Do you think they have better infrastructure than India? Problem lies in our mentality, parents [Mine, yours, most of our parents] don't look at sports as a profession. Most of the players in current German team are picked at around the age of 10 and they have been nurtured to play the football we saw today. Our goverment is also not doing much for the sports, unless we take the initive, nothing will change. Our team will be practicing in Portugul for 2 months. You can become world class in just few months of practice, it should be done from an early age. Proper nutrition, training and mindset is required to get to this stage of the world football.
after seeing the world cup matches , every one is fency to say stars havent perform , i was wondering the meaning of football stars , does to become football skills are required or chocolate face , the most impressive player of 21 century is germans Michel ballack just look at its record , but since he didnt have chocolate face ,the media didnt like him because he live a simple life without any scandal , thus no gossip for media hence no star , on the other hand player like rooney beckam , messi are either chocolate face , or give enough stories to media to write upon ,hence media has made them stars .

bhagwat is a PORKI...please leave him alone..
on the first match of FIFA i was wondering why germans are not the favourite there are 3 times champions allmost reach semis everytime they play soccer , while england team bunch of greedy fools was regarded as all time fav. to win , the basic logic is the english media even in 2010 english are jealous of germans be in economy , sports , politics , and since all most of glopal english media have england effect and developing countries like india without doing any research merely copy paste british media news , this can only be the reason , the germans are almost perfect their manager Joachim low can be compared to general Erwin Rommel in strategy , they have strategy against every team , first they fool the oppostion to come to their fort , then launch brutal counter attack , which proved fatal for opposition , they fool english twice and argentina thrice , there defence is rock solid , if the team want to beat germany they have to show patience , since germans are almost 25 % faster then opponents therefore they should have , how to counter counter attack , only then any team cab defeat german
The fact is that the germans have a far more impressive record in the world cup than the argentines. Also only beacuse ppl dont cry hoarse abt germany being favourites at the start of any world cup, DOES NOT MEAN that germany is not a contender. They have always played well as a team and devoid of stars, play sensible no nonsense european football. LEarn from them instead of bickering!! And yes am glad muller scored the first..maradona called him a ballboy and insulted him..he somehow got the idea that the argentines are god's brother in laws ( hand of god, god's will et al )and would win anyways!!

Actually Maradona is eating his tie and suit. After 1990 finals he was eating his boots.
like the T20, the world cup has to be held every 2 years, as one should get to see different teams winning and many getting new chances to play as well..

Cricket is held every now and then coz otherwise the players will forget how to hold bat - to see a cricket playing nation you have to tread 1000s of miles na ?
