second goal was agreat work from the orange. right from the low free kick from robben, beautifully executed header from kuyt and a simple chance for snjeider, which he grabbed with both the hands.

I also love Brazilian football. But I am not blind like PEEYUSH R. If Brazil did not play well, they did not deserver to go further. And this became quite clear after their first tough match with Portugal.

Kaka was trying to Score the Goal . How can this be "Ego" ??? It was Only because of Own Goal, Samba Lost the Q/F, nothing to do with Brazil's Ego. It is simply that Holland was Too much Luckey to reach S/F.

See Kaka has the ball near to Goal post min 3 times, had he passed the ball next to him it would be a easy Goal. But his ego got to him and he tried himself, in a team game he should have passed the ball to his team mate to score. He has nothing to lose.

It is Very Very difficult to decide whether to go alone OR Pass the Ball. You have Only few seconds to decide and go ahead or Pass !! It may be his Error but Not Ego.
Though Brazil may find it as a rude shock, the fact remains that Holland played better. Results are there for everyone to see. Brazilians have to wait another four long years to play as winners should. Congratulations Holland!!!

right. but the first goal of Holland was lucky, the second goal was a brilliant header..Brazil were playing without any purpose. Ronaldino's absence was felt. Congratulations Holland.

Correct, Brazil lost their way in the 2nd round and played listless leading to frustrations among them. No wonder the man who scored goal into his own team's goal fouled and was sent off.
to me, i couldn't surmise that the champion can defeat against dutch. but whatever happened , it was bad for footwall fans. i was shocked 2 see d brajilian. vikas 09917334222

robben played foul actually, drawing anger, its mostly trolling. he was inducing fouls. its like he had learnt how to attract penalties. other teams should learn from such tactics. i'd love to see dutch lose just for that

I agree partially with you. Fact remains that Brazil was outwitted and were in disarray by the end of the bank.

Read another witty post made by somebody on this forum comparing Robben with Zidane. Brazilians should stop fearing bald headed ball players. They wasted 3 defenders every time on trying to block or bring down Robben with the ball.
Brazil deserve this for their inflated ego and thir legendry of past has forgotten that people have nominated MARADONA the player of milenium not him. AS a coach what maradona is doing is the best,at list motivation of teammembers are high. So mr pele just mind about your BRAZIL team not on MARADONA.
Re: PELE JUST GIVE ADVICE TO YOUR TEAM NOT ON MARADONA

Its crystal clear that Pele is bugged by the fact that people across the globe rate the legendary Diego Maradona as the greatest footballer of all times. Hence his frequent jibes at Diego. Instead he should do something worthwhile for his own nation. Even in Brazil, he is hated for his often self praise attitude and self delusion nature. Brazil's loss is a snub to his ego.

Jake & Bibhuja,
Pele - Maradona rivalry will go on and on. But that does not mean anything for the performance of Brazil or Argentina teams. And frankly speaking, very few viewers could watch the football magic unleashed by Pele in that era. And neither do you have much video recordings of the 1958-1970 world cups. So any survey will obviously be weighted towards Maradona whose performance in the 1986 and 1990 world cups are more viewed and recorded. Last but not the least, Pele did not use his hand to score a goal against any team. That is what differentiates a great player from a great but unethical player.
a point. All along I felt that this brazilion team dint have the necessary firepower to reach the top..they had easy games..with due respect to Chile and Ivory coast. Some people were seeing art and skill in this team must have gone silent now. In fact Dunga's strategy of apeing Europeans has failed..in first half they managed to score a couple and then shut shop in 2nd half..only this time one goal lead was not sufficient..and remarkable dutch comeback..they simply were on top in 2nd half and looked far better than brazil. Hope today's match between Germany and Argentina lives up to expectation..and we see the new mueller score a couple..

Sorry it will be Argentina's time today. Last time they met in 2006 WC, Germans won on penalties and the wheel of history has to turn. So i guess the wheel will turn in favor of Argentina today. Man to man in natural ball play, they are better than Germans, who are more of mfg locomotives.
