Hockey is waste
by jxcess on Mar 01, 2010 12:12 PM  | Hide replies

In cricket you can make more money than hockey. even german players are quiting hockey because they are poor. only cricket is great. bcci is richest club in the world. all our cricketrs are richest in world. hockey players are lazy and they have no competition but still cannot win medals. they are also demanding money but they have to do hard work like indian cricketers who are breaking all records. so cricket zindabad. make cricket national game. hockey is waste of tax of people.

There is no competition in cricket.. whereas to play in world cup hockey every team needs to qualify.. In Cricket.. there is only one team which is consistant i.e. Australia.. no other team.. note what i am saying consistant..for the last 10 years.. and there is no competition at all in cricket.. there are not even 8 decent teams in cricket.. whereas Hockey has 12 decent teams and another 10 plus who can beat any team on any day.. ( like bangladesh in cricket..

Arun, you got it - the pronunciation, I mean!

Jack ass - have you ever lifted a hockey stick in yr life? Have you any idea how much stamina is required to play a game of hockey?

In cricket, half the time, you are sitting on yr backside waiting to bat, and the other half waiting for the ball to come to you so that you pick it up and throw it back. So pl do not call hockey players lazy.

As far as 'no competition' is concerned, there are far more hockey-playing countries than cricket, in case you did not know. It is like saying that USA is the 'world champion' in baseball and they keep breaking records - no one else plays it :-)

Get real, man!

reason hockey did not get popular like football
by kuldakuldi on Mar 01, 2010 12:08 PM

hocket is a dangerous game with more injuries and exteremly physical contact game.with players with sticks and hard ball that rupture anyones head its not a good game from the physical point of view wrt players.maybe this was the reason it did not get popular in the world.otherwise its more more or less like football
