May be in Punjab and some Colleges this game may be played. I never seen any body playing this like footbal. It require a Synthetic surface to play now. So this game is No more our game. We can't afford this game

How many Synthetic surfaces are available india mate?? Hockey what we play is irrelevent. I mean that only.
we are number 1 team in test cricket. we are T20 champions. our cricket board is richest in the world. we are number 2 side in odi. all our cricketers hold records sachin, dravid, ganguly. any hockey player has so many records- no because they are lazy. they are jelaus of cricketers because they are real heroes who play for country and are making money.

India won 8 gold medals in hockey becoz of Dyan Chand.
Last time India won Gold medal in Hockey was way back in 1980. And last hockey world cup india won was on 1975..
India performed much better in cricket world cup. winning 2 and runners up in won in last 30 yrs
Also in 2008 Olympics india didnt even qualified. Such is the pathetic situation of Hockey. Cricket has more viewers and also India is Top.. Cricket should be the national Game
