Again I note these 'at least someone from India has done so much' messages. What done so much - I/II round losses?
Why why do we have such low standards and expectations? We're always delighted with mixed doubles and inconsequential piddling things, and keep hyping poor performances.
Girls from war torn countries, younger than Sania are in the top 3 with GSlam titles.
First Indian to do this means NOTHING in tennis and all sports. If Sania's 'achievements' are something to tom-tom, it just shows how low our standards are.
I guess, she must enter bollywood. She has great assets that will not let her down atleast. Tennis is a tough proposition and she is just not realizing her priorities.
U'stood Sania biriyani is inferior to Steak & half cooked meat these Russians eat...hence in power games like these Indians get tired very fast & retire fast Eg: Amritraj's,Krishnan,Mahesh,Leander etc

UR right. Russian diet is 95% meat. They eat all kinds of animals and all parts of it too. I saw it on the Andrew Zimmern show just last week. Vegetarians are unheard of in Russia. They are lean and mean and Indians are no match for them in sports. They can play up to ten sets without a sweat while Indians can hardly play one set without huffing and puffing. Sania could be more talented but just does not have the stamina.

sania is a non-veg, apart from pig, she too eats lots of animals and all parts of it too.
she would never even reach singles semis of any grandslam. she won mixd doubles thanks to bhupati stop fixation on sania start focussing on saina who is more commited and determined..

yes it is right , who appoint these type of idiot staff in rediff ? all are useless saff.
Sania can beat lally panju players and some top players on their very bad day.She is ordinary but media has made her a great player.Likes of Vishwanathan Anand,P.T.Usha,Malleshwari,Rajyawardhan Rathore have done much more for Indian Sports but have never got the attention which Sania gets.

That is why i have said that likes of Anand,P.T.Usha who have done great service for Indian sports should get the deserved recognition otherwise nobody will be encouraged to become a runner or a chess player.And unfortunately i am not a gifted sportsman or else i would certainly dedicated my life to sports.I would certainly like my kids to take sports as a career.
