When northies complete their education at the age of 22-24, they should do their first job in North. Then next job in some place like Africa, middle east, Australia or may be even China. And do a lot of back-packing there and enjoy these places. But don't do a job in South because its pretty boring and dangerous out there. Then come back to India, get married, and settle down in a routine 9-5 job somewhere in North.

What is wrong with above? Hiking and back packing is fun. I used to do a lot of that in Garhwal...
OK I am from Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and work in Noida (UP) in the IT sector. But most of the kids from my region prefer to stay in NOrth or move out of India. Many dudes join merchant navy. Some take up jobs with oil companies in Gulf. Very few travel down south. Those who do are made fun of...

from 1000 of yrs u people has been ruled by outsiders , u rightly said u can either work in ur place or in africa.
