Why Indian media did not give publicity to this great win by our youngsters. When India won the series after 40 odd years in NZ the news made front page and also included in Headlines by news channels. Ivcondemn that European League Football matches got more prominence over splendid performance of our boys at Malasia!!
It is sad to see that this news doesn't appearing as main headline, if it is cricket even Mr. Dhoni sneeze that vl be the headline on front page, but this is a hockey win mind u malasia is a very good hockey team n we have beat them twice, but no newspaper, tv, etc. vl show them as thier main news all of them r busy with IPL news or election news, its sad very sad, i m not against cricket which is also my favourate game, but other sports also deserve to me shown or written. 2-3 yrs back India was loosing in cricket from every team, but still it was headline, plz rememebr in hockey india is ranked 7th out of 30 countries which play hockey seriously, which is not with cricket where only 5-6 good teams. your suggestion is welcome fellow reader. The Telegraph (Kolkata Edition) did a front page coverage as well. But one had to look for it with a magnifying glass. Hindustan Times (Kol Edition) did a better job
This is a good thing India has lifted the Azlan Shah hockey tournament. My hearty congratulations to all the Indian event for winning it. I also wish more success for the Indian hockey team in future.
Heartiest Congratulations to the team. I sincerely pray that besides cricket now other sports are also equally encouraged. Especially hockey which is our national game. Now we should open our mark on international level for sports like hockey and football.
The best part of this is India has not lost a match. The worst part is allowing late goals.A good and timely win and let us hope still better show in future.
