FYI, He is that Sarday who gave all non sikhs an option to stay in terrorist bound state of punjab somewhere in early nineties.

Do you know India win asian games in 1998 when he was president of IHF. Do you know how PHL is performing? Can't match cricket, but still have some glamour created.

You guys says samething about Sachin or Ganguly when they fails in one series.

How many people from BCCI resigned after India kicked out in super six of this world cup.

Gill will Quit only after reviving Hockey
by Rohit on Mar 14, 2008 12:22 PM

If Gill says that he will quit only after reviving Indian Hockey then it means he will never quit till he is alive. It is in his tenure that things have turned worse from bad and they cannot get better under him. God bless Indian Hockey.

aamphut, this is the same case with cricket too. Does Sharad Pawar know cricket, does Lalu Yadav know cricket etc ect, still these guys are at the helm of various cricket organisations. But lucky we have got good players (and also cricket is not played at global) so that our team goes on and on with superb victories (and lossess too..).
This is the pblm in India, fools talking high positions not just the pblm of hockey/cricket alone..

GILL WILL REVIVE INDIAN HOCKEY !!!!!!!!!!! IN PUNJAB WAY
by Inder Raj on Mar 14, 2008 11:57 AM

yes he will revive the hockey but in the same way he handled the punjab situation.First he made every antisocian element police commando and later used them in killing the inncocent youngs of Punjab. He will use the same technique. They will apooint everry tom dick and harry as coach and later there wont be a single kid left in this country who wanted to play hockey. So problem will be solved. 14 Years of rule in IHF he could not do anything then what else he can do. He is like his mentor Congress PArty . Even in 50 years of thier rule they still are trying to revive the country. Kick him out MSA. YOu are the right person to show him the door. Ask some one like Vijay Malya/Shreedharan or even Lalit Modi to take over IHF and then only things will improve . People like Gill are good for nothing.

Maaf Karo
by Mukesh Kumar on Mar 14, 2008 11:50 AM

Gill sahab, maaf karo humko, hockey players ko aur is country ko. Just being successful in your regular career doesn't really mean that you will perform same in other avenues as well. Our problem is that we have waited very long before making this hue n cry. He has been a autocrat for so long making changes in team, management at his will. He dreams of removing a coach, it is done next day. Every tournament a new captain. Bulk changes in the team setup. And list goes on. Its not high but deseparate time to leave but given this political system I am not sure if anything can be done about it. Well it is also true for other political administrators at helm of other sports.
