When our tennis player loses. At least be proud that India was represented.I wish more Indian girls take to tennis also. Girls seem to be only want to take up dancing. Combine tennis and dancing.
She had to lose with the way she was playing. Her serve and backhand shots have not improved in the last 3 years or so. She can't just rely on forehand and expect to win in Slams.
Her opponents know her weakness and they make her play more backhand than forehand.
Sania showed so much promise and hope to her fans, but it seems that promise is not going to last long.

What a nasty thing to say. Did we have a man champion from India despite men gettting more chance to play? If we produce 1000 tennis players of class, chances are a few will play in wimbledon.
actually i am bad predictor,,,, always my predictions goes wrong but in case of sania it proves wrong.... couple of days bad i said "definitely sania will kicked out in next round" hehehehe

HER MOM AND DAD WILL BE IN MOVIES TOO, SHE ACTUALLY HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN MAHBOOB STUDIO SHOOTING ALONG WITH JHONNY LEVER...
People are wasting time like me .............we should not make any blog for such a loser ,............Its just coz of 1st lady in tennis ,............. Other wise iheard many good players from India is not getting chance becoz of undue popularity given to Sania by media
She is more of a sex symbol for the organizers then a tennis player.Once in a while she wins a matches then take rest because of advertisement commitments.I am surprised how she stays at that number between 30 to 34 all the time inspite of losing every match.Does she gets points for her advaertisements?

No one just stays at 30 ranking by resting!!
That explains your ignorance. Just imagine someone from India that too a girl, who is ranked in Tennis at 30. We freakin never had anyone rank that high that consistently. So give her a break. Winning and losing is part of the game. She is 21 and came from beauracracy laced politics of Indian sport. Give her the credit she deserves instead of piling on her.

There are hardly a handful of female professional tennis players around the globe, if you know what Iam talking about. Apart from that, the ATP awards points for every game a player plays (obviously under a grade system). Sania, during the wonder years accumulated such points and that is what is contributing to the ranking. Mr. Raj Reddy, rightly pointed out sanjoy satpathy's "ignorance" but himself is a "bit" ignorant. The Miss-third-round-queen of Indian tennis has a long way to go, and with the attitude she has had or has shown on court, I do not think it is tenable in the near future.. I do have pride on having atleast one Indian on the circuit, of course :)

Well said.We never respect someone who makes it inspite of our rotten system, part of that comes from this sick mentality.

I agree hundred percent to what Pradeep, Suhas and Raj had to say. People, its easy to comment sitting on the fence. She needs a coach, she is a sex symbol, does ads... all this is utter nonsense. She did something that none of us have done. Leave the game to her. Winning or loosing is not important.. Its important to try. Leave the result. Its a game. It can go anyways.
She always losses in the 1 or 2 round, its no use of her playing in India and elsewhere...its better to try her luck in movies she might get some side roles or surely in some of ekta's serials...thats the only future for her. Otherwise devote some time in game instead of fashion...its the game which made you popular not your dresses...
