RE:Djokovic or Tsonga?

Dude...tsonga got chances...but if you look at the back hand..after federer only djokovic is capable of playing those shots.
He is roger federer and all he need was a wakeup call cos its diffcult to be at ur peak for three consecutive years. Maybe he dint prepare well for this match. He will comeback strongly

yes it will take some time to analyse.. but he is showing the glimpse of a great player the way he dominated against nadal is not just form ..its just class.

It looks like Tsonga is in form for Aus Open....as regards his class will have to wait and see.....Class is Federer.....DJ has been good against Federer, but have to wait and see if he can be Best.....tennis need not always be a game of muscles and power, it can be a game of elegance and grace also

"tennis need not always be a game of muscles and power". That's true buddy. But sometimes even greats too need power to beat competition. For example, federer needed 39 aces to beat tipsarevic. If you're talking about elegance, watch Tsonga playing Nadal, especially the drop shots near the nets.

Agreed there is difference between class and form. But both need more than one match or one competition to prove, class or form or whatever is proved when you hold the crown for years together, a la Fedex!!

Talking about class of the likes of Fedex after just one match, i guess is a bit exaggerating....no doubt he is a talented player...But remember Nadal himself is not of same class as Fedex as he has not been that great on surfaces other than clay where he is The BEST.

Federer looked out-of-sorts today. He wasn't at his best when he needed to be. :( However, that doesn't take any credit away from Djokovic, who played like a champion. Good luck, Djokovic. You have another tough opponent waiting for you in the Final!

I am very disappointed today to learn that I am not going to see world's best player in AUS-2008. He was not in his full swing today. On the otherhand, Djokovic was playing like King. Sometimes it happens once it is not your day. The same happened wid FEDEX too. Anyway I am very hopeful that he will recover this damage winning French-2008 and surpass the great Pete Record.
Good to see Djokovic win for a change and its good for the sport, but dont tell me Federer was in good rythm throughout the tournament.I hope this loss will only help him to win the French open this year.
Ya i hope the Md.Ali look alike Tsonga wins Australian Open this year.

I too hope Federer returns to form soon, at least in time for French Open. He looked out-of-form today!

You are absolutely right.Every Ball he was hitting was getting caught in the net, doenst happen often with Fedex.
Good News...At least some new players to watch...Else it is always who will Federer play in the Final or rather who will Federer defeat in this Grand SLam Final...
