This should be a first in the history of badminton. It shows how unprofessionally sporting organizations and associations are run in India mainly by politicians who have nothing to do with the sport

tournament called off due to lack of shuttle cocks??????/ unbelivable.. next a TT event will be called off due to lack of TT balls..
The sports ministry in India is the worst department ever..
WE talk of big things n hosting commonwealth games n we can't provide shuttle cocks.. incredible...
whoever came up with the caption of Incredible India.. was spot on.

Whom to blame.......
by vikas biyani on Feb 07, 2008 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

After passing the buck game all the concerned bodies reach minister in government, he says leave the matter to me, I will handle this.
Next day he will arrange a press conference and blame either opposition parties or neigbouring enemies (or may Cricket Australia) for the fiasco and order a high level (low result) enquiry into the national disaster. Will ask countryment to stand united against the videshi takat...........blal blah blah......

yes you are right but even in serious incidents like riots (jagdish tytler..or modi) same attitude of blaming someone or passing the buck continues.

and then we wonder why the world still thinks of us as a 3rd world country ?

nothing gets done in India if there is Govt control in that department. That is why I am a great supporter of reforms and downsizing of government to prevent bureaucracy and lethargy.
