Sania knows her market. She also has not won a single title since Feb 2005. With so many defeats, she knows she no longer commands a high price. To save her face, she has withdrawn from the tournament.
Sania should not have taken this decision. Sania u need to know onething "Barking dog will not bite" So don't worry about controversies and it is created by people who does not have work. They want to pull ppl who grows
now ab kalse sachin ko criticise kiya to will sachin say he wont play cricket in india? seekh dekhke. all the most she has done is to get to 3rd round of some grand slams. bas, utne main itna badawa!
it was india and its people that made this faggot to rise to this position, if she does not want to play it let her go somewhere else. return the money she earned, return the awards
No one is greater than the game. It is definetely not a good decision. At the same time space and respect needs to be given to sportspersons who make the nation proud.
For her 25 cent play, she demands a million dollar attention from the corporates and audiences. Very FAT swollen head this girl has acquired! All advertisers in India must pull her ads out, considering that she doesn't respect the wished=s of the Indian audiences.
"Madam sania when your old mulla demands an apology for ad shooting at macca masjid you have heart to tender apologies.. then you said you made a mistake unwittingly..now why its not the case with our national flag at your feet.. you could have tendered unconditional apologies for the kind of photo it was. now.. what will you lose ( crores?) if you say sorry for doing a mistake without knowing? Its not a sin.. admit it and grow in stature.. else like everyone who are adamant it will hurt you in future..."

Why should she apologise for no fault of hers? She was at quite some distance from the flag, and the photo was taken from such an angle that her feet appeared to touch the flag in the pic... she just became a victim... should she apologise for becoming the victim?? If you are trapped in such a manner, would you tender unconditional apologies as u demand from sania??
Its a great honor for a sports person to play in front of their homeland and its people. Her decision indicates that she just plays for money not for her country and also this decision tells about her arrogance and high headed behavior. She is not such a great player that she can deny playing in her own country, we the people of India should tell her not just to play but also to leave the country and play wherever on the earth, be it Hawaii islands or Singapore etc. she wants to play. She is not above the country. The country is not known by her, she is known by the country.

Yep I will 100% agree with you. She is too arrogant. No respect for country, only money matter her. Corporate India should take back all there ad's from her. Then only she will come down to earth.

it is people like you who are making life miserable for a sportsman like her. In any other country, she would have commanded respect and pride. here, she gets hassled by fundamentalists who just sit and spout their jargon without contributing a penny to the country's good. A country with mad people like you does not deserve someone like her.

Mr./Ms. Mirza... Suppose you represent your country in something (imagine the best to your ability)... you try to give your 100%, you work hard even in ill health, and the next morning you are informed that a litigation has been filed against you for no reason you could reckon... and this happens for every second morning to come... I hope you will say the same thing then too
