If Phelps has born in India he will definitely be a part time life guard in a swimming pool where neo rich Indian peoples useless children go for time pass swimming and a part time night watchman in a swimming pool.

Crowd enjoys Sachin’s game and sometimes in cricket excitement is very much high and even poor people of India forget their tension and worries when there is world cup match or cricket tour. But Phelps game is boring and some Americans & Idiot Indians enjoy once in four year.
Swimmers have unfair advantage. Players like Nadal and Ronaldinho are also one of the greatest in their sports but they can win only one olympic gold .
On the one hand I become little jealous as why the american wins so many gold medals and our country of one billion people find it difficult to win a medal(this year of course Abhinav Bindra won Gold medal). One the other hand I salute The Phelp stuff really amazing.. However Chinese are also not far behind..specially ladies who despite being smaller in height grabs so many gold medals in swimming.. We indians have to learn lot of things from chinese hardwork, their development..etc. Of courese some people, CHINA phobic people will bring some examples of third grade goods which are sold at cheaper rates. I would like to clarify that this is just market strategy of CHINA which wants to dominate in world market by luring different scale of customers. Honestly look at their olympic opening ceremony, other infrastructure...India lags far far..behind.

Congrats Phelps -You are a true and hard working sportsman bringing proud to your Country.whereas Sachin is good in building century records for self only but for country.But for India Kapi Deve brought 1983 Worl Cup, Gavaskar -Benson and Hedges Cup,Dhoni- 20-20 World Cup and Abinav for Shooting.We are proud of these Indian

think before u say things,like these to sachin...he ahs brought so much honour and respect in to Indian cricket like no one before...in his times, he was the a one man show when team india was nothing more...so please stop complaining about this great individual

Only athletics is a natural sport. You can really enjoy very much when an athlete run, jump etc. But we cannot enjoy very much when a swimmer swim. Athletics is a game of common people. But for swimming we need costly swimming pools. So all costly game should be banned in Olympics. Winning medals in game, which are costly and cannot be enjoyed by crowd such as shooting, swimming etc. is nothing but a joke on poor and common people. Such games should be banned in Olympics. Then only there will be Olympic spirit.
