Lowering his own "iconic" status is also a task that Mr. Gill can accomplish single handedly. He does not need any help.
if he takes 2 lakhs rupees bribe than what's the big deal. what would officials be charging to players to enter in cricket indian team just can't imagine the figure. it is a fact. compare to cricket 2 lakhs is peanuts. it happens in every association
Do we know India has won Hockey gold medals maximum number of times...Our teams in pre independence India used to play without shoes and beat europeans/including hitlers best german hockey teams to win gold medals. There was this man Dhyan Chand who was a master with his hockey stick....Brings tears to my eyes Today we find our hockey team in this sad predicament of not qualifying for olympics --Shame Cause --> Corrupt officials and people like KPS Gill and Kalmadi weilding power who have not held a hockey stick in their hand ever in their life... ITS HIGH TIME THESE people are thrown out and hockey is professionalized with ex-hockey players or old seniors like Dhanraj Pillai taking centre stage and building a new team afresh with talented people of which there is no dearth .Else this people will also bring reservation in this sport and soon we wont even stand to qualify for local asian games.. JAI HIND ---is someone listening

Do you know that India had a golden age in 3000 B.C ? That India was the toast of the world becoz of its harmonious living in 2990 B.C ?
Guys! Do not jump to conclusions. Has anybody verified the authenticity of sting operation? Remember the case of school teacher Uma Khurana? Or, the minister Gavit? Nowadays, TV channels are the biggest source of making money and in the process, every thing is justified. A sting on sting is needed.
It is a known factor that IHF chief himself is the biggest corrupted person who has lead the down fall of indian hockey. All should be removed and Mr.Kalmadi the biggest corrupt of all, as all money goes to his swiss account.
many people have been complaining that IPL is all about money and not abt cricket!!!!
but money is important too!!!! by making money in a legitimate manner prevents the chances of corruption!!! frankly speaking as cricketers will be making crores from ipl due you think they will risk it by mixixng with the match fixers??? look at shoib, he must be biting his hand of!!!
hockey needs to take the cue from cricket!!!! as they say poison is the cure for poison, the only solution to corruption is bigger money, but in a legitimate way!!!!
