This is what happens when you have sarkari people managing professional sports.
What do you expect when you have an encounter specialist like KPS Gill (who killed many innocents in the name of fighting terrorism) as the president of IHF ?
With such a man at the helm of affairs taking bribe would be a minor issue.
As followed by hockey...even cricket is surrounded by these kind of issues..just b'coz major kinpin are invovled in it..cricket matter is not under limelight...hockey is seen as a underdog game so people like JYOTHI are small fishes in this BIGG pond of game scams... hope to see sumday same sting operation in cricket too
such people should be given a life time jail punishment and our judisiary system must wake up and take severe action against corruption of any form and last thing hockey should be removed as national game.come on fact is nobody is interested in hockey in india there is offically one game - cricket.so let us dream cricket, eat cricket and sleep cricket.
Such scoundrels in the country are increasing in numbers-A police officer also if found taking bribe should be shot.No wonder Indian hockey is in pathetic condition. It is time the loot and unaccountbaility created by corrupt senior public servants is tackled. They are main cause of all this problem.Kumaran should be asked to stand and his back should be bombarded by hockey balls struck by all Indian hockey players successively.Would be comedy cum punishment. India should start judicial reforms commission and public accountability commission seriously and immediately and this loot and plunder of politicians and babus should be stopped. Before people start kiling each other( civil war)
Mr. Jyothi kumar contrary to his name is a black spot in IHF, he should be given a "free kick" and sent out of the board. Shame on these useless fellows.

Positive -> It is good that pepople have still interest in the game. Whoever wants to play will not get back his 2 lacs even he plays for a year.
