Abe dont comment all these it means you r interested only on her body and not the TENNIS she is playing. We are proud of you SANIA and we want you to maintain consistency during the coming events including the BIG US OPEN
I saw the match on ESPN2. Sania did not play like she did against Bammer in the semis. In that match Sania wanted to win. Today Sania did not want to win. Maybe she was tired. Anna was double faulting so many time and gifted points to Sania. Sania did not make use of Anna's poor service. Instead Sania served equally bad. It was a very poor match with both players playing mediocre tennis. The match was horrible. The way Sania is playing she will not enter any more finals. At best Sania can play at this level or get worse. If Sania wants to be in top ten then she should put the same effort like the top 10 players. Simply dreaming will not get her to the top 10.

I live in USA, and Nobody even bothers to check out these tournaments. These tournament though considered part of wta, lack partcipate of good players.. These are practicing match, and are used for improving Rankings... I believe, there is not even a 3rd round.. 4th, quarterfinal are a distanced thing... Hydrabad was such a tournament, where sania won her only wta championship. Her best performation, to this day, has been the 4th round of USA open 2005... That was amazing, and we all thought, there was something in making... But alas! anyhow, rediff should abvoid using the word "Sizzle" as sizzle is followed by the crash round.. Rediff is proving to be a curse on Sania...

deepak, am sure u r one among those thousands of techies who are there in US for $. DO u have any idea what WTA tournament structure is ? This was a Tier II event which invloved ( and generally invloves) many of the top 20 players. The way Sania marched to the final toppling Golovin, Schneider and Bammer was sheerly brilliant. And on the decisive day she lost to the top seed. Quite commendable. Guys like u shud learn to know things correctly and how to accept things. She is right there in the league of big gals of tennis. hope, she cracks into the top 10 soon and starts getting better draws in grandslams. Half-learnt people like you only know Grandslams and make hues and cries over that. Huge PITY !

could you please go to this site and check out www.wtatour.com? This is Tier II tournament. What sania won in Hyd is Tiver III or IV. This tournament was shown ESPN in USA live for 2nd semi(first Semi of sania was shown recorded) and Finals. The previous chapions of this tournament includes, venus willaims, Lindsy davenport, Kim Klijsters and so on. You are thinking its not followed in US because u r not bug enough fan of tennis. This is the first stop in US open series and the points they get in this tourament actually can help if some one comes 1-3 in the lead up tournaments (5 of them) and finally when the US open.
