It takes courage to state one's ambitions publicly. Sania is a courageous little girl. Wish you all the best Sania. I am sure you will end up there.

Sania Always have a target
by Rajesh Shetty on Feb 09, 2007 11:06 AM  | Hide replies

I have seen Sania saying "I don't have any targets in mind for this year and put additional pressure on myself" She slipped from 32nd to 67 in WTA rankings. Now its good to hear from her that she wants to be Top 10. Atleast she will reach near to the target in next couple of years..... All the best Sania

Only Hard Work and Determination will get you there
by bugs forever on Feb 09, 2007 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

While Sania's intention is creditable, she needs to get hungry to win. It was painful watching her game in the finals of the Asian Games where she lost so easily. An interview to DD soon after she qualified for the semi final showed her state of mind. She said,"Now that I have qualified for a medal, there is no pressure!". That showed her inadequate state of mind. She was not hungry for a gold medal; she was merely content with 'a medal'. She will need to change that attitude if she really wants to make it to the Top 10. The Top 10 is FULL of success-hungry people!

Day Dreaming...!!!
by gagan dhingra on Feb 09, 2007 10:58 AM  | Hide replies

So, now she wants to be in the Top Ten...aha....nice dream...Sania. You have to STOP DAYDREAMING...!!
We indians have been doing all that before you came onto the tennis scene little kid. Start realising your worth on court and play your game rather than being seen in Pubs, Night Clubs, Product Launches, Parties etc in Hyderabad and other Metros. You have a GOAL and strive towards it and stop Blabbing about your Top Ten Dream. Keep your dreams to yourself and just concentrate on your game baby.
Our country is full of Heroes and we dont need more who just do Commercials and fill their pockets. Relax and Chill baby.

It is her dream and you do not have right to dictate.

She has earned and will spend as per her wish. If you earn and don't spend, then there is no need to earn.

You want her to "Relax and Chill", but without spending her hard earned money.

Come on, grow up man...

Good potential...
by siva kumar on Feb 09, 2007 10:12 AM

Sania's ground stroke has been extremely good... She should correct a lot her unforced errors and try to convert them as winners... She has lot to learn and as far as WTP is concerned with her career... I wish her all the best to attain her goals...
