Cannot understand why she gets so much press...Not that she is among the top players in the world...Its amazing,out of 1 BILLION people we have only 1 player to reach 4th round at US Open....If we go by the numbers game, every 6th Grand Slam, an Indian should win 1 of it..and here we have a player who is famous for that small achievement of reaching 4th round....Give press to some real achievers like Anand from Chess...he is among the top 3 and never gets this kind of press...I cannot understand why our media creates stars out of such small achievements....this is only going to make the young girl perform more poorly...

I totally agree with you. She is a over rated sports person. She has to improve a lot and be consistent to reach top10. Consistency is what she lacks most! But one thing which i guess every one would agree is she is the best women tennis player from India so far.

Any game, which need physical strength, its not easy. Other than ground stokes %u2026 it%u2019s not really great. Lousy serve. Poor volley!I am happy one thing about you. Your popularity as player (or model?) gave a change to Indians to realize that there are other games in the world other than cricket!

I didnt say Indians are not going to be top. I just said, for a game like Tennis, you have to be strong physically. If you are not strong physically, you have to over come it with technical stength. She lacks both! She can never ever go beyound 20 ranking!!!!!

Well said Johny. On top of all that she is overweight . Did you say 20 in the ranking .Ohh forget abt it . if she goes 40 now that will be a shock ..I mean when did we see her going past 2nd-3rd round in a major.

Dear Sachin, Tu kya tumhare pote bhi soch nahi sakte wahan pahunchne ki jahan sania aaj hai. How much you cry foul she has potential to reach in top 15. Then you and your grandson will talk about her achievements. If you can't praise Indians then you are not Indian. Hope one day she'll break into top 15 and people like you will bite dust. India had athletes who won 4th place in Olympics (Means a world ranking as 4th). But I even seem any advertisement on them on TV channels. Sania best is just 32 in the world. But she so popular & even Govt. given her Arjuan Award! Crap! Its all money & beauty! That way world it is!

Now its enough of Sania. Now the situation is as follows: Her WTA ranking drops by one, she gets one more endorsement offer. Common man !! Beauty with brains is not going to be enough to win a match against Sharapova or Serena. People like Leander Paes, Koneru Humpy are not getting that much of focus as Sania is getting. But the aforesaid names has fetched more titles till date than Sania has. Anyway, the year 2005 went very good for this lady. But since then she hasn't reached even last-eight stage of any of the tournaments. So why is this hypocrisy about this lady ?? My advice to Sania would be to refrain from media as much as she could and concentrate on her work. There's no doubt that she has enough of talent. But let her Racket talks, not anything else.

Jayanta, Paes is still not in top 100 and she is in top 50 from last 1 year. She is just 20 and she has achived a lot. Are jeolous of her stardom? If yes then you must be jeolous of sachin,narain, mahesh, dhoni.... Peace to you and peace to all.
Good ooking or otherwise, Sania has started to take her game more seriously. Good news for Indian Tennis, bad news for opponents. She needs to be just incrementally hungry and she will just zoom up in the rankings. Expect her to win at least three grand slams in the next three years!

Be optimistic.. dont do it over..Let her first get into last eight in a major, then to last four then we can dream about her taking or even playing for the title isnt it my friend?
