The caste system must be abolished in one stroke. Easy. Delete caste from the constitution, thereby Reservation wud also go.

Let the poor hv 25%reservn. The financial limit being Rs3 lakhs pa for a family of 5.

The reserve and only be for college seats and jobs ...Not for promotions.

The present system has been hijacked by the rich amongst the SC/ST/OBC.

Kancha Ilaiah is full of nonsense - continued

(1) All agrarian communities are not poor. There are very rich Jat farmers in Punjab, Haryana & western UP. What prevents them from studying in English & teaching it to their caste brotheren?
(2) All regional leaders OBC parties deliberately force regional languages on their followers and facilitate useless degrees in regional languages for vote bank purposes. But forward classes are blamed for this.
(3) Rediff is going out of its way to promote all anti-Hindu personalities by publishing such illogical articles.

Education
by Sridharan Srinivasan on Jan 08, 2019 07:33 PM

Brahmins are not rich. They were pujaries, learnt Sanskrit to be pujaries, from from their seniors. When. British came , they learnt English & filled clerical posts. Their children went to schools& colleges & occupied govt jobs, along with business communities. Landed & farm worker communities were very slow in this shift., but Brahmins in South were blamed as if they are responsible for landed& farm worker communities not taking up education. They remained in their comfort zone, while Brahmins had to adopt to changing times. So it is unfortunate people think education is the key . No doubt , it helps, but making people think , & do better with change in whatever they do will bring in prosperity. Businessmen & Brahmins & others who have done this are successful, others being left behind. So people must be told this& but politicians of present day will not do it , as it will affect vote banks. So it is upto people to go forward by doing what so called forward communities do.

(1) Almost all the private educational institutions in Maharashtra are owned by the Shudra/agrarian community of Marathas. Yet Marathas also want reservation.
(2) Who is preventing SC/ST, OBCs from learning English
(3) Kancha Ilaiah is a convert to Christianity and wants to destroy Hinduism.

WE WANT RESERVATIONS TO END ACROSS THE BOARD
by auryas on Jan 08, 2019 07:12 PM  | Hide replies

WE WANT COMPLETE ABOLITION OF RESERVATIONS ACROSS THE BOARD.

SOME PEOPLE ARE INTELLIGENT AND HARD WORKING THAN OTHERS AND THEY WILL WIN ANY COMPETITION AND TOP EXAMS.

IF YOU WANT TO WIN A JOB OR ENTER A COLLEGE , WORK HARD. WHY BEG FOR BACK DOOR ENTRY THROUGH RESERVATIONS ?

OUR LIVES ARE RUINED BECAUSE OF RESERVATIONS. EVEN OUR CHILDREN ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THE EVIL. HOW LONG WILL WE TOLERATE THIS DISCRIMINATION ?

This man is no more a thinker than you or I
by Chaitanya on Jan 08, 2019 07:10 PM

His statements are only rhetorical questions.

His statements don't give any numbers or quote any sources.

He is muddling up multiple issues with no clarity on their inter-relationships (eg English education and reservations).

Rediff calls him a "thinker", gives him free the publicity that he doesn't deserve otherwise, and publishes an elaborate interview with him.
