Hopeless article
by RATAN SHARMA on Jan 09, 2019 07:03 PM

Narendra Modi has taken a good step. This system of reservation should have been adopted since beginning where step by step reservation according to income class should have been given. None the less, its a good move by govt.

Reservations Benefit on 5% of the Community Meant to Use Them!!

Reservations Benefit on 5% of the Community Meant to Use Them!!

# The present reservations quota will create a new segment of pseudo-upper castes and a new division.

# The present approval gives reservations to a person whose parent income is up to Rs 8 Lac PA. A person who is getting Rs 8 lac PA, or 60K PM take home, cannot be called underprivileged. Now those who are better off in the Rs 8 lac bracket will grab all the benefits. The condition of 80% the poorest among upper castes will remain the same.

# Reservations often creates a feeling of complacency or sedation that makes that community feel they are getting a lot of benefits. This attitude kills the drive to work hard and achieve.

# A lot of fakes like businessmen who often earn over Rs 2 lac PM and state only Rs 20K PM on papers will grab these reservations, which is already happening among OBCs.

# The way the OBC reservations are misused proves that reservation method is a failure. OBC reservations are being overwhelmingly exploited by criminals and their communities like YadavMaadharChodhs, JatMaadharChodhs, GujjarMaadharChodhs, PatidarMaadharChodhs (in UP), etc.

Reservation, as a policy and freebees on top, has made our country poor. by way of making people lazy, making people incompetent. all the more, inefficient work force...its a killer.

Yes
The present move is only to retain power. This is not a good step. The Govt does not think of future implications of its decisions.
They are more concerned with winning elections. It will be difficult to finalize the 10 % qupta elegibl;e candidates. That may take years to decide. 50% reservation to SC ST and OBC should rather be decreased by 10 % after every 10 Years and hose who have already availed of the quota be deleteed from reservation eleigiblity

Job Quota

Can Kancha Ilaiah answer this question? Is there any other country in the world, where a person from a disadvantaged group is given a job even if that person is not as qualified as a person from the so called better off group?

Reservation in private sector
by ritesh sharma on Jan 09, 2019 11:34 AM

Due to rotten politics of last 20-30 years people are getting used to a lot of pamper. India survives because of its private industry and not PSU or government jobs. Reservation in private sector will sound death knell for India as a Nation.

Kancha--- superspecialist in casteism
by sachin agarwal on Jan 09, 2019 11:09 AM

Kancha or anybody shouldn't look into the caste of any person but the hardwork and the sacrifice done by that person and his/her family to reach that level. Imbibe those qualities and not the caste. Most of the lower income group has innumerable children, uneducated and suppressed women, alcoholic husbands, children into drug abuse, etc. How reservation can help such families. One -two generations have to struggle hard to make the future of their further generations. Merely reservations and other freebies are of no help. One should learn to live on their own. It's better to sleep hungry than to be in huge debt.
