Aadhaar Verdict by Supreme Court of India
by Ramaswamy V K on Sep 26, 2018 06:15 PM

Most people writing messages in this forum are ignorant people. They do not know what is fundamental rights or privacy. They think they and the Government has won the battle in SC for Aadhaar. Far from it is. The Supreme Court has in fact protected the citizens from the Government who is illegally demanding personal details by insisting on Aadhaar. Now you need Aadhaar only for Income-tax PAN and subsidies. SC has struck down hundreds of illegal Government orders insisting Aadhaar seeding for Bank Accounts, Mobile SIM, College Admission, Stock Market Operations etc. The citizens of this country defeated the Government through the SC. On Next appeal to larger bench even the Aadhaar for PAN card will be overturned by the SC. BJP Bhakths think they have won but actually they have been slapped by SC.

Privacy is important
by Keka Baidya on Sep 26, 2018 05:37 PM

If your privacy is so important , then what the hell are you writing articles in social media? Is it not not divulging your indentity ? Donât be double standard . Through the Adhaar Data no body is peeping inside your bedroom, and you are not so beautiful that some want to love to see your beauty. And you are so poor that nobody will attack you to get your money. The poor need to loss anything but will get some bread and butter through the Adhaar only.

Dear Suresh,

Personal Information is your Name, Date of Birth, Phone number, House Address, Religion, Caste. Wilson says, companies will sell these informations for money, which is right and he should think of ways to restrict that.

To tell Aadhar itself is not necessary is wrong. It definitely helps to plug corruption and benefits will reach to the poor directly, which is not happening now, becuase of funds changing many hands from MP, MLA, Corporator or Zilla Panchayat, Block Samithi and all. Thereby actual users will not benifit directly. That will help here.

SC failed
by Soumitra Goswami on Sep 26, 2018 04:17 PM

SC failed to protect marginalized people both in NRC and Aadhaar. Indian system is not so proven so that we can switch machine based identity or whimsical decision on who is citizen or not. The govt. should try to reduce corruption within first then in people. we have seen judges coming out open on malice in judicial system. It is proven by these two verdicts where ruling party got upper hand. They will only realize their mistake when they are on the receiving side. India is far from a true democracy and first system should have been improved before automation in administration.

Aadhar & Privacy
by naushad ahmed on Sep 26, 2018 03:14 PM

Every details of Aadhar is in public domain now, so talking about its privacy is silly. Humble request to all to read "mark of the beast" for your enlightenment. You will get the same on google or you tube.
