The article is well written. I salute Nehru and Sardar equally. Above all, I salute Mahatma who was a very thoughtful leader. While he internally encouraged Sardar, he overtly supported Nehru for a very thoughtful since the mean thinkers would easily misconstrue as language based nepotism. Nehru was a great prime-minister and Patel was the greatest home-minister. Fortunately they got right roles. Had they reversed their roles in those days, we would have been in a worse situation. Here lies thoughtfulness of Mahatma.
There is no need to salute either Gandhiji, Nehruji or Sardar Patel, we should salute only Guruji Golwalkar for his and Sangh pariwar's great contribution in freedom struggle.

A colleague of mine published four books, laudatory biographies of Hegdewar and Golwalkar and derogatory biographies of Gandhi and Nehru. In spite of his attitude to these four leaders, he could not produce an iota of evidence that the RSS stalwarts participated in freedom movement.

Every leader has his day. It was Nehru during his heyday, now it is Patel all the way.
1. Writer acknowledges that the work started in 2013, when Modi was only CM of Gujrat. So it is meaningless to say, that he decided about statue of Sardar & not Netaji. 2. If we should salute BOTH Nehru & Sardar, who had prevented us doing so for last so many years ? 3. Even today, when Modi has put a statue of Sardar, we are saying that "BOTH should be saluted". When are we going to say "we should salute Nehru, Sardar & Netaji" ?
A third class article. It is shameful that these people always like to be in history rather than the present.

There is no ambiguity about what Nehru and Patel did. While the patriotism of Bose is unquestioned, his joining hands with the Nazis and Fascists is questionable both from ethical and effectiveness point of view.
