Not wanting to see or hear about Mughals is a bit too late a wish to harbour now. A bharatvanshi is an undefinable entity concocted by some people, who do not really know what Bharat was, what was its length and bredth, its time of existance etc. We are now enlightened enough to over this imagery and love our country as has been handed over to us by the British.

Changing the historical name: being first done by DMK government in TN- to have their leaders name. No problem in creating new places and name them is ok. But renaming may have some applause or support for a while and not for longer duration.
In TN, we have: Gandhi Nagar, Kasturibai Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Sastri Nagar,Indira Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Ashok Nagar etc in each and every towns and many roads are named after them also.
Many big roads are after the name of above persons and Sirdar Vallabhai Patel, Subash Chandra Bose, Shivaji, Tagore and so many places are named after some Keralites, Kannadigas, and Telugu.
Further so many north Indian leaders names are named to children of Hindus, Muslims and Christians.
Let us assume that if some body who takes over TN as chief at a later date and has no faith in Indian Federal set up - changes the names stating .... as if north Indian's.....Is it fair is the question.

Name changing has exposed the total bankruptcy of any intentions of the govt. for doing constructive work. By changing names, nothing is gained except inconvenience to people who are aware of the history of those places.
