Mughals are outsiders and invaded and converted peoples here in Indian subcontinent. They created things since they lived here since long time all for them. Religious differences his their creations. India is unfortunate to have this monsters and their well-wishers.
What is wring in it? Mughals changed name now Yogiji has changed... if he had changed name of Banaras to Mughals name .. these so-called pseudo secularists have had no objection... all original names before the invasion of Mughals shoukd be restored... names of Bombay, Madras, Calcuutta changed...

Is it acceptable: Change the names of TN, AP,Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa as Kingdom of Chola, Kingdom of Chera, Kingdom of Pandiya, Kingdom of Kalinga, Kingdom of Pallava, Kingdom of Maurya, Kingdom of Ashoka etc.
From what we see and read about how UP is being ravished under this CM, we now realize what it means to monkey around with governance ! That is surely what is happening in UP. But, the picture is somewhat incomplete. The CM can add a cow, an elephant, a mouse, a tiger, an eagle and even a hooded cobra.

Obviously you are a convert either by force, conviction or lured by something.

By name, may be he converted by force and forget his past. Pl. forgive him
Prof. Sajjad had written many beautiful articles previously. Unfortunately, this one failed.
According to Prof. Sajjad, "The Mughals became completely Indian in every sense and united the vast Indian subcontinent, not only territorially, but also the hearts and minds of people with multiple religio-cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversities. The Mughals, arguably, made India an enviable superpower in the then world".
One can at the most say it is his perception. The fact is that, except a few very intelligent personalities, vast majority of this land does not perceive it in Prof. Sajjad's way. And perception of some persons can not be history. The tone of the article is such that these are like some facts like Newton's laws of motion.
Not expected from a balanced thinker like Prof. Sajjad.

CXDon`t know much about the Prof. But one thing is obvious. "An enviable super power" was overcome and defeated by the British, how come?
