Yogiji has learnt lessons from Moguls n Angrej... he is implementing ..n following them... they changed names of many cities now he is changing... . what is wrong...
Is it because such acknowledgements will not let them 'otherise' India's Muslims today. The following is from internet "Throughout all the meetings between Viceroy Mountbatten, Prime Minister Nehru, and himself, Jinnah was persistent for the creation of a Muslim nation, arguing that it is necessary because Muslims do not feel that India is their motherland. They did not have much tie to the land and the people as Hindus did, which caused a feeling of being an outsider and foreign. He made them realize that this alienation of the Muslim community would lead to an instable India. After the Radcliffe Line was created, which formally split Bengal and Punjab to create Pakistan, Jinnah was appointed the first Governor General of the state. Clearly, the success of his actions led him to justify his thinking of separating two religions.WHO STARTED THIS OTHERISE?WHY BLAME OTHERS FOR SELF PROCLAIMED OTHERISE ACTS R.PONNAMBALAM
Is the author of this article afraid of Pre-Prithviraj Chauhan history of my country? Why is he objecting to erasing of British era names? Does he accept that they invaded and forcefully settled here, after violating human rights, property rights, religious freedom of people originally living here?

Firstly you forget that this country is not yours alone. It is as much of the writer as it is yours or mine. Secondly you totally forget that renaming places the history does not change. The great and thriving nations preserve their histories for future generations to learn. Germany or Japan have not become great today by obliterating the holocaust sites or hiroshima or Nagasaki. Today they are leading nations due to exemplary work done by their people and governments. It is cowards who seek solace in obliterating history.

True.. renaming place history does not change.. Mughals Unnecessarily changed names of many cities... they should have understood your logic.. by following Mughals , Yogiji is bringing back the history that Mughals have changed by renaming cities... you are also right .. Had Congress worked in the interest of country n people... no majority, Minority, corruption, Dalits, scams no indiscpline etc.. our country would have been at par with Japan, Germany, Australia etc...

So .....what are you trying to say here? And who is distorting history here. Mughalsarai is a place where the horse rider messengers used to stop for rest and may be change of horses. Now tell me who is distorting and for whose benefit?
