Aakar Patel,note that Akbar has issued statement that he was not guilty further he has sued the accuser Then why are you in hurry?Do not try to be judge.Let Court of Law decide it.Just because women accuse one man after so many years does not mean it is necessarily true.Will you note please

Actual tragedy is people like you who are becoming judges. Only MJ Akabar and those ladies knew the truth. Let them handle it with available evidence. Let us agree on one thing. Someone is telling untruth. That is factual position. If we go by probability and with big number of women, it seems that Mr.MJAkbar might be at fault. That is more possibility.

Actual tragedy is that the people who have allegations do not have guts to follow legal process and want just lime light, publicity and want trial by media. This people very well know that they dont have any case against Akbar which they can prove before the appropriate authorities.

There should be restrictions on media that unless Court has held any particular person guilty there should no comments,posts,articles or any writing which tarnishes reputation of the person concerned and media persons and writer should be held guilty and punished

Mr.Bare! Are you ready to apply this rule in every case? How the opposition defeated Rajiv Gandhiji? Was he hold guilty by the court? The BJP leaders are accusing him even after verdict of SC in his favor.Please explain your views.

Mr Joshi you are referring to irrelevant subject I am talking about allegations and counter allegations where reputation of the person might get tarnished even if he is found not guilty It is my opinion until any person is found guilty by the Court nobody should have right to make comments which may cause irreparable loss to the image of that person permanently

This is a new tactic of blackmailing and extortion. Now any lady can accuse anyone with whom she has a grudge. Court should entertain only those accusations with solid evidence. Will the court entertain if someone comes and tells now that an accidental death occurred decades back is murder by so and so ?

Aakar Patel should know that we are not living in a Jungle Raj but in a solid constitutional democracy. The accusers should prove their charges in a court of law. First let them reply to the legal notice issued.
Even Rahul was accused of Rape by a victim and was even taken tocourt. But the same congis have now made him the president of their party. Why don't they ask Rahul to resign from the party president post.
Simply surprising that even sr journalist like Saba Naqvi who comes on all news channel during primetime did not utter a word til date or even hint at during any of the debate/discussion on rape at workplace.
It has become a fashion to file complaint against high profile persons when they did not get what they want like a break in a movie or promotions at work place, they are now using the # me too as a place to vent their anger for getting what they wanted as they dont have
First the oppn should verify as none of the journalist accusing have filed a police complaint or any complaint in the women commission of the state or center. Dont the journalists know the basic step is to file a complaint.
Why did they wait for so long some even to the extent of 24 yrs. Did the police not take complaint against MR. Akbar as all the claimed incidents happened during the UPA rule and none filed a complaint.
All was fine wheh MR.Akbar was with the congress but the moment he moved to the bjp he became communal and their behavior towards him also changed.
Rahul even hugged PM modi during the parliment session and even winked. can a case be filed for hugging without asking for in front of all members under the #MeToo saying its humiliating and embarassing as a PM to be hugged by Rahu

If you are bold enough, opposed at that moment itself and left the place. Our law is highly defective which insults only men, as if women are not extortionists. Time has come, when no one can dare to tell any women anything particularly in office, whether they work or not, come in time or not, go early, make all insults to anyone including customers etc., in particular in govt. offices. No landlord can question any lady tenant. No lady who is publicly creating nuisance cannot tell her any thing. What to do now under such one sided act.

With the headline ,I thought Mr.Patel is going to give some substantive evidence against Mr.Akbar.I don't find any.Like him I also idolized him in those days(Sunday/Asian Age).I wish all the reports against him is false/somebody come up with evidences against him.

Mr Akbar's comments as reported make it seem as tho he has a good case. Two of the accusers are reported to hv said some years ago, in effect, that he didn't do anything. A 3rd relates to a situation in The Asian Age office which was evidently a very crowded place. If chkd out and found to be correct, these 3 cases at least do not seem credible.
