The way this article started, it seemed that Patel had witnessed first hand instances of improper behaviour from Akbar. But nothing of the sort. In fact Akbar is complimented for his intellect and broad outlook. I guess Patel is upset that Akbar shifted loyalties from the Congress to the BJP.
Mr.Patel, tomorrow if a woman throws mud at you or even better, if your clown master Rahul Gandhi is accused of sexual assault, what would be your reaction ?
Granted, the Metoo movement is genuine and long overdue, but to convict a man on the basis of allegations alone is uncalled for. An example of the bizarre extent to which it is going was in the newspaper today - a 50 year old American woman complained to the Police about sexual assault after a 9 year old boy brushed her behind. She immediately became the "butt" of ridicule in social media and later tendered an apology to the boy.
So far, I had my doubts about Aakar Patel, but now I am sure - if at all he has got brains, they are not in his head but in the seat of his pants and they get flushed out every morning in the toilet.

This man is not fit to be a head of Amnesty International. He is may be on a mission to tarnish image of this country. If he has guts, lket him go to China or south Korea as a head of Amnesty International in that country and dre to write his nonsense there.
This man, so widely condemned as a sexual predator, has been cleared of all the charges in one of the six cases, by a US Judge who said that he had clear evidence that this man had not done any wrong. At least the Judge should now ask for suitable compensation to be paid by the accuser.
