If you ask opinion of Congress about the choice,

They will have only one name. No need to think at all of other names.

Imran Khan of Pakistan

Congress will reap benefits of his visit. MS Iyer can request for help to overthrow Modi Government openly. Last time he had to go to Pakistan for that purpose.

Russia is an excellent choice.

Another innovative option would be to have the leaders of North & South Korea attend the Republic Day function. It could prove to be a masterstroke...

That is true. Why should we invite anyone now? I read one article in regard with Sardar Statue. It said that the dream of becoming 'Vishwaguru' is fulfilled with this biggest statue in the world. Now trums and putins and Xi Jinpings should invite Modiji as we have proved our self as a world power.

Invite President of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernández
who will then invite our PM for a reciprocal visit.
So Honduras can be his 59th country visited in four and a half years of office.

What was the outcome of these visits ? Positive or not ?

Then why you want to be sarcastic ?

Be positive. Stop the negative attitude of Mamta Banerjee.

Invite leaders from CIS/small european countries
by rajesh venkatraman on Nov 02, 2018 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

Call 10 leaders from the smaller European countries or CIS region tell them the opportunities in india and also how it can build relationship in the sectors like tourism, textiles, IT, Pharma or Medical tourism, automobiles, higher education, Food and Beverages etc as these areas are more of export oriented and foreign revenue generating areas.

We nee to understand the regional requirement and make sure our industries are ready to meet the export quality and timely production at cheaper prices. This sill help more job opportunities creation in india.

Also we need to tell our industry captains to create a global brand value of their products atleast 2 in each sectors like how we have foreign choclates, cookies, biscuits, beverages, eateries. health drinks / softdrinks, fast foods, cars, hi-end trucks, buses, fashion stores.

We need them to understand that india is as a one stop place for all requirements. Right now we areknown mostly for yoga, ayurveda, bollywood, spices/indian cullinary in these areas.
We need to expand these and also invite their companies to set shop in india which can be a gateway for eastern countries as there can be a huge market for them in these region for exports

That is also a good Idea. Modiji can boast it as 'First time in the nation such persons are called for such event'. All the Modibhkat will start telling about innovative mind of Modiji. The taint on Soniajai and Rahulji will get washed without court. When something is done by Modiji, it must be an expression of patriotism, no one is supposed to ask any question. Take example of all those corrupted Congress leaders who got clean status just by entering BJP.

this is totally waste of tax payers money. after coming to india their security is our expenses and in india there are many problems beginning from water, agriculture, education, employment, homes, roads, crowded local train, many more why unnecessary spent tax payers money for this silly shows. India is not built not from 2014 it is built since 1947 after independent. why this man is more interested to call this dignitaries. this means we are fully dependent with international community and not have any independent in India. Instead of spending huge amount for this reason why this amount cant utilise in India betterment of common man and particularly middle class tax payers. every day petrol and other commodities prices are hiking and we are bow our head with govt without any think and this govt is enjoying from other labour this is really sin of this country. no one is think this problem only they want to sine their name.

Who should Modi invite for R-Day
by anand fadnis on Nov 02, 2018 10:03 AM

The headline should be corrected Republic day is a national event so the invitation on behalf of President should be there by Indian government and not from an individual as it is reflected from the headline.

No need of inviting world politicians or leaders.Instead about fifty poor farmers, unemployed youths, brave jawans and the wives of martyrs should be invited for the national day.
