Who is the VIP for Republic Day
by Mohan Ranganathan on Nov 03, 2018 06:50 AM

Change is the motto of the government. Since it seems Trump expressing his inability to attend it seems all heads of other big countries may not be happy to come as a replacement. how about somebody from a country which PM Modi has not visited

If you ask opinion of Congress about the choice,

They will have only one name. No need to think at all of other names.

Imran Khan of Pakistan

Congress will reap benefits of his visit. MS Iyer can request for help to overthrow Modi Government openly. Last time he had to go to Pakistan for that purpose.

Instead of Calling a single dignitary India should call all the rulers of APAC Region i.e. Asia Pacific Region..It will strengthen the bonding apart from fulfilling the strategic Interest.

Imrankhan would be suitable, if he agrees, to show the world that these two nuclear powers are not enemies in the strictest sense, but cousins at war for prestige.May be this may turn the table on our enemies.

NO, after return of Imran Khan back to Pakistan, pakistani army will start heavy firing from all border posts as has always happened in the past history. Pakistani rulers have always back stabbed India.

It looks like every foreign leader is afraid to come, since they also have to invite Modi as a gesture. They may be worried that Modi will readily accept the invitation and jump in the return flight of the visiting dignitary.

Dear empty vessel, khali dabba abdu, some one week period every month by hormonal imbalance can be very disturbing for reason based thinking. Humbly suggest to keep mouths shut for this one week, then you would get one full month to treat you by medicins. Best wishes for your cure ...
