As Mr Mohan Gurusamy wrote the other day
by piri on Nov 04, 2018 12:50 PM  | Hide replies

in an article on rediff, neither Narendra Modi nor Rahul Gandhi has much in them to claim such legacies as those of Sardar Patel or Nehru.

One is a big time thief and liar who has become PM solely on the strength of his exceptional ability to bray out hyndu.....muxlim....hyndu....muxlim... and fool North Indian commoners.

The other is a naïve novice who has all but proven that he is too puny to be a national leader !

What are these pygmies before giants (relatively speaking) such as Nehru and Patel !

Piri! I agree your opinion about Modiji. He is a cheater, liar and exploiter of patriotic sentiments. I do not agree with Rahul as novice. It is ok that his party lost. However he has improved a lot.
I strongly object for the term pygmies for both. Modiji has so may qualities, but I oppose him for his cheating. I do not compare them with Nehru or Patel. What Modiji or Rahulji can do for freedom fight? And if Patel and Nehru would have born in say 1960, they have done simple administration. That is all. There is no need of comparison.

Nehru a giant? or a coward, short sighted giant who gave up POK , Aksai Chin, lead India to defeat in 1962. And Modi is liar and cheater? Only allegeations of the paid press, not proved yet.

Modiji is a liar on every front.Due to Nehru we got half Kashmir and our loss with China was limited. All negative things in this regard is a creation of RSS/BJP and their supporters in media, intellectuals. That is why when Nehru was winning elections after elections these so called patriots were not able to cross even 5% votes. And persons like you, without making efforts of reading unbiased history, believe in gossip by gossip mongers.

Oye ever stinking jobless, useless kaliye, dont underestimate intelligence of the common people who has given an absolute mandate to Modi and his party to rule at the center. What about the party you blindly support ? Why they have only 16 seats in both house of parliament out of total 786 seats ? What is their vote share on all India level ? Why they lost power in Tripura recently after rule of 25 years ? Why they are having rule in only only tiny state ? What is their progress in 70 years ? Better give reply before writing nonsense about others.

Who should be invited for Republic Day 2019
by Purniah b on Nov 04, 2018 10:40 AM

I think Angela Merkel would be appropriate. Hopefully our EU interface will be better. Also she has announced she may not stand for reelection. So this is the right time to invite her

Who should Modi invite for R-Day?
by SUNIL KULSHRESTHA on Nov 04, 2018 09:15 AM

Mr Putin could be a better choice, Mention of Imran Khan among invitees reflects intellectual bankruptcy,Only foreign head of states are invited as a chief guest as against family members or local politicians.

Have it at the White House
by Subrata Das on Nov 04, 2018 08:31 AM  | Hide replies

The Republic Day celebrations should be held at the White House ,1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C.
This will be a win-win situation for three reasons

1. Donald trump would be the Chief Guest as originally planned

2.The PM would be making his sixth trip to the USA in four and a half years

3.The foreign travel expenses could be tripled from the present 2000 crores to 6000 crores

Whom to invite for our R-day
by daniel thorat on Nov 04, 2018 02:06 AM

Modi has done all such things - hugging foreign men, visiting their countries, big shows in the US and entertaining Hindi knowing Indians abroad, only for one purpose - to make his impression as the sole Indian leader. Now, Trump has declined the invitation and requesting any other foreign leader will be begging for favour. Probably, Modi will do it still.
