When I saw the name of the Author I guessed correctly what I have to read. The law seems to be harsh but while detaining anyone under this law, I am sure there will be background known for that person. If that person has serious criminal background, there is no harm in detaining without charges. Basic human rights should be provided to those who understand basic human responsibilities.
Would Mr. Aakaar Patel write or think differently if Mr. Azad were not from the Dalits but otherwise? He could have considered whether he as an Indian himself has the right to express himself freely thus and accuse everything done by rightists an an excess against 'peoples'. People nowadays have acquired the ability to colour an incident to suit their political preferences and thus a positive event(of course they refuse to see anything positive in acts of opponents). Thus each act in itself is seen as positive or negative based on who brought it about. We do not have people who are visionaries but we have only narrow-minded,short-sighted and selfish people who twist matters and facts. The 'Aakaar'of such things is turned into a 'Vikaar'.
Akar Patel is suffering from Hardik Patel type mentality and he needs to be get medicine for his mental health care. It is bitter truth that Indian lacks in discipline as compared to Europe,Russia, US,China,Japan and most other countries citizens.
if the govt. like british then you never get freedom of your speech and write so any false and misguiding matter you writing and till now also free and fearless . so why telling a lie ?stop it

Akhlaq did not have freedom to eat whatever he wished. People who killed him where closely associated with BJP.
Pandsare and Gauri Lankesh did not have the freedom to speak whatever they wished. Their killers are suspected to be right wing sympathisers of BJP and RSS.
RTI activists are being killed but the government refuses to bring the Whistleblower's protection Act. Their freedom (Whistleblowers) to do what they wish (within the law) is not there.

British built excellent dams, bridges, railways, gave equitable Justice system, modern education system by opening universities, etc which rapidly improved the living and intellectual standards of common people. British modern medical services reduced death rate and increased life-span. 4. English language helped India to become a tech & educational power in the world today, in spite of some shortcomings. 5. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, superstitions, ignorance, etc strongly rooted in Indian psyche, though remnants remain. 6. No doubt Hinduism is the most secular, literature-rich religion, but Indians live in constant delusion—believing ancient Indian literature has all sci & tech; in 2000 BC, 90% were literate & rich; Indian economy 27% of world economy in 1700, etc. These are all lies invented by scoundrels to fool Indians. Before the British, Indians were living in poorer & pathetic conditions. INDIANS SHOULD DEVELOP

During British rule.. Christian Missionaries were patronized to spread Christianity and convert ignorant masses ( mostly by be fooling them) . With modern education system curricula was so designed as to make new generation believe PAST time of subcontinent was so full of poverty that Britishers and Mughals invaded to make this country Rich... etc.. etc.
