The Govt. must answer this case. The Govt .promises something telling in URDU meaning "Everybody alongwith and for evrybody's welfare." This man jailed for one year is also one among everybody. The Govt. should ensure his welfare in every aspect and respect.R.Ponnambalam

That is not Urdu dear! In Urdu 'lughat' there is no such word as 'Vikaas'. SABKA SAATH SABKAA VIKAAS is the slogan.

Justice has to there to anybody .Why we are selective?
by R ponnabalam on May 13, 2018 02:59 PM  | Hide replies

“He can be jailed for 12 months without charge or trial.”In the eyes of ordinary mortals it is a HEINOUS CRIME that for one year a case charging someone can not be made by the Govt. What happened to so many watch dogs who make news? Many come in the open to save democracy. They are knowledgeable in the intricacies and nuances of the relevant subject.Ordinary men may not know the many details operating in a case or in this case. But it should be within their wherewithal of people in the relevant field to question the Govt. as to why for one year the case couldn’t be framed against and how long would it take and why..The author is right in bringing the case in public. But he could be having better avenues to let justice come about.R.Ponnambalam

Why can't the vibrant system be not precise and apt in wording
by R ponnabalam on May 13, 2018 02:28 PM

The vague and open nature of the wording is absolutely deliberate. When we have a vibrant Judicial System why this vague and open nature of wording is not discussed to save Democracy but is moaned here. R.Ponnambalam

why not it is a SUO MOTU case
by R ponnabalam on May 13, 2018 02:23 PM

"This is preventive detention" . We ordinary people do not know each one, case by case. When" in the past the Supreme Court has itself called the preventive detention laws 'lawless laws'"would this case not qualify for being considered suo motu by any court? Why we the champions of Democracy who moved the Supreme court then the right of Rohingyas to be Refugees in India have not moved the Supreme Court in this case R.Ponnambalam
