They all wanted to further strengthen the caste system by scraping reservation.
And those who are comparing it with other countries are forgetting that nowhere in the world there is religion based caste system which ruined and denied human rights to major population for such an long time.
The time has come to scrap reservations for ever on the basis of cast and religion. USA utilizes the services of creamy of the professionals around the world and is progressing. Our country on the basis of cast uses junk and mediocrity advocating corruption and is lagging behind . Therefore reservations should be scrapped/ abolished for ever. progress. Sudhir Kataria
Scrap caste based reservation immediately. If the Govt. wants to continue with caste based reservation system it should exempt 'unreserved' community from paying taxes.
Reservation in this age sounds so odd. This kind of politics was practised by VP singh and co in 1980's. When there are very few govt jobs, why do people keep proclaiming backwardness?
Tond wakdya Sharad Pawar is responsible for all this. When they were in power they didn't bother to give reservation to marathas and now they are crying for maratha reservation. And maratha people are zooming to his call.

Why not to Brahmin. They are also people and part of the country. They can also ask for the same afterwards
Pressurizing the government on any issue and getting the issue settled has been the norm in the country. Let us put a stop to this. Reservations no more please-whether marathas, jats, gujars etc. etc. Let us rationalize the reservations already going on -say by abolishing the creamy layer; by making the reservation list current etc. Other pressure groups like the milk producers, the truck operators are also having a try at applying pressure. Let none of them succeed to get their vested interests (only)-without any logic. Let us all support whichever government is facing such pressures. Virendra

Why stop reservations now when ther is a liar & chetaer govt at the Centre??These BJP thugs had supported ever agitations during Congress rule.Now the same has been backfired.Actually this liar & cheater/corrupt & communal Modi has promised them reservations in 2014 & now fooled them.This is the most Mchodds PM since independence.This criminal /mafia & a womeniser Modi should be thrown out in 2019 & put him in TIHAR JAIL.
