Nehru and Gandhi were pawns of Britishers
by ajay kumar on Jan 28, 2018 05:19 AM  | Hide replies

Britishers killed many freedom fighters in india. Bhagat singh and like one were hanged but nehru and gandhi were spared. What a ploy on ignorant indians at that time. Definitely its very unfortunate for the country. The very own existence of india is in danger now. Every day terrorists are gaining foothold in almost every part of the country. Kerala, West bengal, UP, karnatka, Bihar every where there is danger emanating from these ill faithed species.

The writer wants us to thank a person who worked 24 hrs for ruining our country economically and geographically. What more can we expect from leftist writers and historians who are ever ungrateful and back stabbers.

It is Indians' bad luck that instead of Sarar Vallabhai Patel Mr. Nehru became the Ist Prime Minister. In fact he grabbed the Chair threatening Mr.Ganghi to split the Congress party.

Any basis for this allegation? The historians say that Nehru was Mahatma Gandhi's choice, the story of Nehru threatening to split the party is not recorded in any account of those times.

None of those JN's bad judgements were ever documented. He had some hold on MKG which no one has been able to fathom. Apparently MKG caved in rather meekly to JN's whims. Most certainly JN blackmailed MKG and the INC inner circle, but none of it is recorded.

Nehru had n capacity to split the party as he was not having support from any one. He was made PMthanks to only Gandhi who had extra ordinary love and affection for Nehrufor the reasons best known to him.

I agree with you , Ganthi's choice is always is Nehru , though he has high regards to Patel . both nehru and Ganthi are equally important in developing India , we sick minded people always see with present day politics .RSS agenda itself is divide and hook or crook rule the roost .

In the matter of Kashmir it will be educative to make a comparison with Junagarh. In Kashmir a Hindu king ruling a Muslim majority area acceded to India. In Junagarh a Muslim king who ruled a Hindu majority area acceded To Pakistan. The events that followed can be educative for all of us.
In Kashmir the accession had the support of Sheikh Abdullah who felt that Kashmiriyat would be better protected in India. India and Pakistan went to war. Those who blame Nehru for taking the matter to UN may listen to Sashi Tharoor who says if we did not approach UN, Pakistan would have done so.
We sent our army to Junagarh, the ruler fled to Pakistan and his prime minister Iftikar Ali Bhutto took the next plane after handing over all the files to India. A plane came back to India only once, to airlift the Nawab's favourite dog which was left behind. Junagarh problem was solved.
Sheikh Abdullah fell out with India, mainly due the non-compliance of the 1953 accord by India. He was imprisoned, released, allowed to go for Haj. During the pilgrimage he visited many Muslim countries and made speeches against India. He was again arrested, released and offered chief ministership. Deaths of Abdullah and Nehru led to a rapid deterioration of the ground situation. Both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. International Muslim terrorists are meddling with the problem sidelining all the earlier players.

I would recommend you read Sushil Pandit's account of the Kashmir accession. That should open many blind eyes.

Our current worries go beyond the problems of the fifties. All the parties that opposed accession and asked India to honour its pledge to hold a plebiscite (Plebiscite front, Muslim conference, Hurriyat) are now rendered irrelevant with the entry of international terrorists of various Muslim hues. With whom do we talk?

Please correct yourself. Indian army at no time entered Junagarh. It was the local organization fighting for freedom led by Shamaldas Gandhi forced the ruler of Junagarh to run away to Pakistan.
It was the Nizam of Hyderabad who wanted to join Pakistan. the Indian army entered Hyderabad after the Razakars took control administration of the stae. Nizam never signed accession document. It was razakar chief Kasim Rizvi who threatened to join Pakistan.
The maharaja of Kashmir had signed the accession to India. The question of Kashmir joining India is beyond doubt. The Pakistani Pathan tribal entered Kashmir. When Indian army entered Kashmir to drive away the tribals, Pakistan regular army entered the battle. The issue at UN was not dispute between India & Pakistan but agression by pakistan in Kashmir which was de-fact Indian territory. We projected the agression as dispute which resulted in the current mess. In fact Pakistan had no right over the POK.

Nehru?
by babukmenon on Jan 27, 2018 11:42 AM

Let the writer remove his 'congress "family" spectacles' and see truth and learn to write truth. When the real truth gets exposed, no point in making all the hue and cry. General public know things now. Cannot keep them always in dark. Let the 'system' in Delhi now, of course with majority verdict, function. Do not disturb.Keep your jealousy with yourself.

It is always hazardous to make political predictions, but I will stick my neck out. Muslims would have felt uneasy if Patel had become PM.

During JN's time there were no complaints by Hindus. All this chest thumping started only after the saffron forces became active.

INC was little more than a group servile to the British way of life. Independence was more due to the INA than the INC. Both JN and MKG were mere flies and not the brilliant thinkers that you would like to have us imagine.
