Leaders who are rioting are more rich and influential comparing to any Brahmin leader in SC,ST and backwards. Their bias and snatching right from the poor, needy and deprived is at stake, therefore all have gathered today with congress-old game played by such leaders. Let all these must gather and pass a resolution that only poor, deprived and needy will be considered for the benefits of SC,ST and backward, instead of generalising the issue.
Interviews of people indulging in celebrating the victory of a foreign occupying force on an Indian Kingdom to be published in a renowned media like rediff is painful. If the celebrations are not anti-national what is? The war itself was a classic example of how the British divided us to play one against the other and rule us.

The British were not angels to fight for the liberation of dalits; it was our own leaders like Gandhiji, Rajaji etc. The atrocities of the British in Africa and carrying them away to far-off Americas as 'slaves' and the mass killing of the local people of Americas ( Red Indians) are well known.

And when I came to know that Syed Firdaus Ashraf was the one who did the interview, I stopped reading it as I know his agenda, anything anti-nationalistic, anti-Hindu, anti-BJP and anti-Modi. This is an event commemorating the victory of 'a Foreigner'(British) over 'an Indian ruler'(Peshwar); and if you are celebrating this victory we know who you are !

What a silly question? Reservation in principal is wrong and does not serve the purpose. Affirmative action alone helps. And why is everyone silent on the fact that atrocities by Brahmins on Dalits are few and far between in history. It was the others in caste hierarchy who committed more atrocities on Dalits than Brahmins. But why does no one take on the other castess? Is it because they form a larger chunk of vote bank?

Sriram-reservation means direct benefit to rich and socially strong dalit today, as he does not permit BPL in his own community to grow.
ONLY FOOLS TO BELIEVE that Brahmins never strong financial can not oppress any one .they were mostly preachers and were begging for their food -classically . they were used by rich landlords to meet their ends .Brahmins have shown more consideration to others than their own people .I have never seen my mother and father ,inspite of their idiosyncrasies and rituals ever treating them badly in fact they were given lot of respect simple they were working hard to live .I am 72 years and they would be around 110 years or more .We were reprimanded if we do not use their name calling servant etc was not allowed .All these nonsense is one for more free booting two political

Paul-why dalit leaders are not insisting to provide first right of benefits to only BPL class in dalit catagorey, so that benefit is passed on to poor, needy and deprived. They have snatched the right of their own brothers in last 70 years, by way of abusing always Brahmins,
