scam on purchase of defence equipments
by Girish Rautraya on Feb 09, 2018 10:05 AM

The trouble with all politicians that they can not make the right choice and decisions when needed but to drag for ever till its too late. It should have been brought during our famous Congress time. They have done more damage during their era by delaying the procurements of defence equipments for our bravehearts than complaining later when it suits them. They want their bosses and cronies are protected with the latest gizmos nevermind the cost and procedures, but not for the nation

irresponsible reporting
by MRK on Feb 09, 2018 09:51 AM  | Hide replies

I expected this (RAFALE DEAL) will be made an ugly issue just b4 the elections... and you will be in forefront in such a case. Defence secrets are not divulged and you people (media) very well know that. We Indians are so irresponsible that we even want to know the modus operandi of surgical strikes...
Our Army was desperately in need of sophistication since UPA rule and the ill equipped Army was to face many constraints in discharging their duties. No one spoke at that time when defence was neglected. Today our Army is highly equipped and no country is daring to challenge us. My humble request to you please don't politicise with the sovereignty of the nation.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS
by Shashwat Raizada on Feb 09, 2018 12:12 AM

There was a competitive bidding. The essential requirement to be considered is to meet the technical specifications. The technical specifications sought are published in the RFP. Please read the Defence Procurement Procedure before publishing false statements that the capability of the aircraft must be Secret. A Govt to Govt transaction does not involve bidding. Hence based on Geopolitical and mutual interests a price is arrived at. This is kept secret so that it does not form a benchmark for other sales. Before publishing do basic research.
