People who let the defence preparedness slip for over 10 years and even more earlier are today complaining of a deal having gone through. When you dont plan long term for defence then the Government of the day has no choice but to go for emergency shopping with a shopping bag - same that happened before 1971 war when Field Marshal Sam had to go and buy from the open markets

Mr.Rajeev Gowda- your scamgress was only talking of commissions to SG,RG,AP etc etc. Every deal there was commission. In Agusta wetsland the price was hiked specs changed, Agyusta had a backdoor 0- coz Madmajis favoruries were to get a deal and ofcourse fat discount to madam and son.Ofcourse, Mr.Gowda set your own house in orer. Sad is the day when intellegentsia support the corrupt and opportunistic opposition ... In this case, Rajeev Gowda is part of it ... probably Rajeev Gowda sees himself as the successor to P Chidambaram ...
the earlier government was surrounded by disruptors in parliament..as a result neither Anthony, nor Singh took any decision. That much is known, doesn't need a Ph D or a management expert like Gowda. But the babus did all the paperwork, were ready. The French must have pushed the button and created a panic along with our air force officials.
For a man with a chest swollen with ego, he probably couldn't say that he can't sign when a paper was pushed at him.
What a pity ! Our defence, bureaucracy and technocrats sit in three corners with the politician and people in the middle, hopelessly unaware on how how the buck is passed. What can Nirmalaji do? She will probably do a sortie, or a u-turn in a tank and overwrite the inconvenient news.
If only there were elections. All this noise would have been drowned and we would have a great entertainment...probably some notes and some whisky for the needy

There is a idiom says "Mounang Sammati Lakshanam"- As I could interpret it means that "if you are silent on a matter - then you indicates that You don't disagree with the issue raised." Mr. Prime Minister while you are asked about Rafael issue you are responding on a different issue. Like You can respond but not on the particular issue You have been asked. It indicates that You do agree with the claim raised by the opposition-That Rafael deal is not corruption free deal.

Exactly my friend. They are biased, as they hate our PM. But we love him and he will remain as PM for next 20 year's
its all bullshit. the deal was agreed by Pappus government and the price higher than the current one .It is possible that there were kickbacks for the congress then .Modi renegotiated and got it at a lower price with government to government agreement . Congress has lost its share of kickback and hence making the noice .Guys please read between the lines
