Who made up the rule that appointment of judges must be BALANCED across all states ? Since when ?
Why only balance it across states?
How about BALANCING the appointments across :
--Gender (Males, Females, Transgenders) --Linguistic groups --Religion --Caste --Sub-caste --Income group --Wealth group --Age group --Left-handed, right-handed, and ambi-dextrous people
Why Congress is not insisting for the NJAC which was passed by parliament and rejected by SC. Even one of the senior judges opined that the collegium system is not transparent. Then why harping on the system of selection of judges.
