Till today also dalits face many problems because of there caste. Dont see SC STs in big cities only, go the small small villages to know the reality. Dalits, SC STs still live out of the village and live backward life.

Only Congress Party who ruled the nation for about 60 years is only responsible for Dalits poor conditions. They used them for their Hate politics and corrupt media houses provided provided their platforms.

Hundreds of young dalits marched on North Indias roads to protest the Supreme courts decision on the Scheduled castes and Scheduled tribes act !!
SCs and STs are fairly evenly spread across the Indian nation.
But why did only those in North India felt it necessary to march on the roads in protest against the Supreme courts decision to dilute the act ?
It is only because the Scheduled castes and tribes in other regions of India - primarily in South India - do not feel threatened by the dilution in the act !
It is only in North India - almost unarguably one of the worlds worst boondocks - that sections of the population live in mortal fear of criminals making their lives more miserable due to a change in law !
The only way to raise Dalits to UpperCaste Standards in 25 yrs!!
According to Karma theory of HHinduism, those who accumulate negative Karma due to sins in their previous Janma are born into lower orders in the 4000-year old Birth-based caste system. This is fundamental to HHinduism though rightists try to deny that. I agree that HHinduism is a highly secular religion, but innovative methods to change this old caste evil.
To uplift Dalits, first impose authoritarian and then:
1. Impose strict family planning—2-child policy among Dalits. 2. Open English-medium schools in all Dalit colonies & villages. Just teaching English from Class 1 to 7 does not cost much or need big infra. This can be easily achieved by reducing the salaries of our useless GovtEmployees by 5% (or just do not revise their salaries for 30 years). 3. Order all Dalit gov employees to take monthly English tests and to score min, failing which give them negative yearly-increments (until they improve). Remove better off SCs & STs from reservns. 4. Make it mandatory for all other Dalits too taking min number of English tests and scoring min, before they can get and use their reservn certificates. 5. Teach only English, local language, maths from Class 1 to 7. Teach history, science, etc only after Class 8. 6. Make NCC compulsory (with English commands). Train Dalits well in western and parallel Indian manners. 7. Instill achievement-oriented thinking & upward-mobile attitude among Dalits.
Without a tacit and yet full understanding between the Cenre and the CJI, this thing could not have happened. SC would surely have taken into account the repercussions of this "dilution?. What is truly foxing is: how can anybody think that atrocities crime can be reduced by REMOVING the punitive potential of the Act? That amounts to encouraging atrocities.

Congratulations for writing truthful post which may be liked by few because cunning and wicked political class dish out undeserved fortunes to less competent,less hard working in the name of reservation which is not prevailing in any other progressive nation,beneficiaries of this faulty system are now claiming this as their birth right and what the ordinary citizen gets- doctor who doet not know the bone whether of hand or feet in his/her viva exam during MBBS course, engineer who can not draw angle of 110 degree and judicial deptt.public servant who hardly understand the laws better.
This all is happening because cunning politicians have ruined their habit of excelling in life,made them content with less hard work.Surprisingly the product of this reservation system join govt.sector and not serve the poor and middle class in proper way. Politicians get vote and power,beneficiaries make money,get respect in society but nation as a whole suffers and that's why most of the nations take us lightly,knows the truth of our mindset.
All this must stop if we want to move ahead,beneficiarles should come forward and start achieving the success after hard work,as per wisdom which is preferred by nature also.The poor( called dalit insultingly by spineless politicains) are equally wise,capable of better achievement,they only need better and affordable amenities to get success as others are doing.
