Divorce Option, Domestic Violence Law, Available
by Ravi R Saigal on Sep 13, 2017 10:04 AM

If Husband is Violating His Wife, the first would be to file domestic violence & than seek divorce .

This Rape, though a reality will be grossly misused
to Capture 100% Property of Husbands. So many people through divorce are not happy settling for 50% Share
If there are Violating Husbands in society There are Crook Ladies also waiting to Dig Gold & destroy Husbands & Eat away their properties / wealth

Criminalizing Rape with a Pre Condition of Divorce So That Innocent Husbands & their Family can atleast save their 50% Share of Property
Otherwise Innocent Husbands will be in Jail Crook wife will be enjoying the hard earned property / wealth
Let us Not Forget There are Much more People who are greedy in Society that there are Rapist in society
The number of cases involving Property / Wealth in courts far exceeds the Rape cases.
Thus the chances of Misuse of Marital Rape Law are far high

Marital Rape - A misnomer
by PJ on Sep 12, 2017 11:40 PM

In a marriage this argument says a physical act can be a rape on a wife . Surely unless they detest each other other this cannot happen !Then they should divorce and not bother each other's presence itself.

The question is which is more traumatic a physical rape or mental rape ( an act of badgering the husband's peace of mind) etc;

Wife beating is already covered under physical violence- sometimes its vice versa too ), then act under the IPC.

Marital rape is a misnomer !

Marital rape is disgusting

First of all marital rape concept itself does not apply to India. It has come from the west. You can bring in here it will have ripple effect. First in the west marriage is mutually done between two people on consensual basis which may not involve family in majority of the cases. A husband may have some disease or wants to do certain wild thing or fantasy under the influence of drugs or alcohol which may hurt women physically or mentally. It is valid there but in India it is mostly done with consent of family with at least 95% cases.

We already have laws to deal with domestic violence and laws which women use to their advantage which is 498 a IPC. Lastly our judiciary has collapsed which takes decades to solve a case. It has become hollow.

Article is the result of depleted grey matter syndrome!
by S ANU NAIR on Sep 12, 2017 09:44 PM

If non-consensual intercourse by males in marriage results in rape then what does non-consensual, shrill, ear hammering by females in marriage be termed as?
Ear-scre ing? auditory rape?
Like all other forms of violence,we males sincerely need a law which addresses this 'high pitched, screeching'brain hammering issue which paralyses all rational thinking in males coercing them to resort to violence as the only recourse to self-defense.
Today the author seems to challenge a recent supreme court ruling, contorting facts to suit their own devious ends. Criminal to say the least.

Boon in disguise for lawyers to get more cases to fight in courts
by rajesh venkatraman on Sep 12, 2017 07:50 PM

Its the lawyer community who doesnot get enough cases to fight as the number of lawyers is more that the cases pending in the court as senior lawyers don't have any retirement age and fight cases till the day they die. eg Ramjethmalani who is 94 yrs and had just stated that he is retiring from profession as lawyer. For the new lawyers who are coming out of college need new ways to find cases as Indians have large population cases like marital rape is boon in disguise for them.
They will ruin the institution of marriage and earn good money for themselves by dividing other family lives. Shame on those people earning on others shaap and not paap
