To hell with aqittal

To hell with conviction or acquittal. That will come after 5 yrs but the husband will be put into jail immediately. Why not make the divorce more simple? Is the wife not getting license to maintenance on marriage. If husband is wrong the things should be tackled in some other way than equating it to rape by a stranger.

Marital Rape
by utpal mukherji on Oct 11, 2017 02:33 PM

There are so many other ways for a married woman to seek separation from her husband. The various laws related to marital life are so much in favour of women and men are being harassed by crooked women. The Government is very right in this aspect as if it is passed as a law it will be highly misused. Some people want it for settling personal grudges and support it.Great job done by the Government fully support the government.

In India entire judicial system is paralyzed, People are not getting justice in time and it is well said "JUSTICE DELAYED = JUSTICE DENIED".
coming on the topic it will be very difficult for women to prove the marital rape? therefore it is complete waste of time and energy.
In Bharat in clear cut cases offenders are escaping due to lack of evidence and because tedious and lengthy judicial process.
Rather we should focus on correct, quick and timely justice.

Who has forced the petitioners to enter into marriage?
by Suresh Kaushik on Oct 11, 2017 01:15 PM  | Hide replies

It is strange that the petitioners want to get married, but want to preserve their right to say no to their spouces. They seem to have their own notions about marriage. In the first instance, why cant they continue to enjoy their life, without entering into marriage. Who is forcing them? Second, why are they not asking the Court to lay down a User Manual sort of directives, on what precautions a man should take before trying to make luv to his wife, to avoid any legal complications at a later stage.... In any case, the members of AIDWA are supposed to be liberated souls. Why do they want to impose their liberated life style on other ladies?

In un-civilized countries like India, the relatives are the ones who are responsible for all kinds of "Forced" marriages. If a young man refuses to marry the "slut" whom the relatives choose, he will be treated as "mental case".
