This is frivolous statement of the person whoever has written this article. Some days after these type of people start saying that marrying more than one female should be legalized. Actually whatever devastation this feku baba and his bogus team has done to the indian economy it can be reversed only with thee expulsion of feku baba and his jokers from the center especially on an urgent basis. I also advise Congress party president Rahul gandhi to stop infighting within his own party, expel the rebels, let the distrust and anger against modi government to further ignite and learn lessons from past mistakes. These are the only way that can help congress to regain power in Center as well as many states.
The author seems to be swayed by western culture. Mind it , it is India and such foolish ideas have no place in Indian society. There is vast cultural difference.All western concepts are not applicable in India.

Anil, what western culture ? Culture is not sticking to something if everyone believes it is wrong. Culture should be progressive not regressive. In India women were married when they were very young. Even boys at young age were married away. Thanks to Child marriage laws, these are mostly prevented. But marrying 15 - 18yr old to older grooms out of compulsion and the ensuing shock for the girl is what this law is trying to address. How is this culturally correct. That is a bad cultural concept. This needs to go.
This will not serve much purpose.In 99 % cases,the wife is underdog and will not go to police/court to wash the dirty linen outside. The 1% women who has the capabilities and means to do will misuse the law to full extent.
