1 dozen mangoes Rs 400 10 dozen mangoes for Rs 4000 ? If this is the case, then its not a deal. Any person will ask for discount and the rate will come down say to Rs 3500... so you save money on more mangoes.. same case goes for rafale.. Initial quote was for 126 units.. but latest quote is for 36 units. So makes sense if the price is high
we are dealing for defense of our country, our enemies are ganged up and we should be ready to give fitting reply. remember similar controversy erupted for Bofors, eventually that played its role during Kargil. any defense deal with foreign players will be murky whether dealt by NDA or UPA but we should get best out of it. cost gets escalated due to delay, spares, arrays of weapons, maintenance cost, jammers, radars,radar warners, india specific reqirements, special helmets.let us get the best and get it fast.

Important point is why original deal of 126 aircrafts was cancelled? If reqiurement of airforce was urgent what was Modi govt. doing till April 2015? Are you not aware that ready to fly aircrafts for urgent requirement will be completely delivered by 2025? If it is urgency , then BJP read Modiji must be using different dictionery.
The truth will come out only when BJP is out of power in Delhi. Like Bofors deals this a time bomb waiting to explode and then the country will know the true 's face of BJP and the mistake the people have made by voting this government to power.

After RaGa's sensational(?) bhashan in Loksabha, France govt officially confirmed that he is making false statements (as usual). They confirmed there is a secrecy agreement signed during UPA rule and that applied to this deal also as this deal is in continuation of previous one.

The French govt is a party to the Dassault deal *renegotiated* by the Modi govt.
Its words carry as much conviction as the words of a suspected thief in his defence.
And, if the French govt had really *confirmed* that the UPA built a secrecy agreement into the Rafale deal, it is a big surprise indeed that Nirmala Sitharaman has not so far said a word about it though she has been pouring sweat trying to give a reason why she reneged on her promise to reveal the price !!

If flouting the procedures/ transparency is the signature tune of BJP in the grab of DESH BHAKTI, then go for communism/ anarchy, why pretend to be democracy. close down all law enforcing agencies including CAG.
