first question why upa govt. did not purchase that plane when they made a low price. 2nd question if the present rate is high then some extra special features are giving that to be thought. 3rd if any corruption then move to court then prove it .

Rafale Deal

PM Modi has taken a bold decision. Points raised by senior retired official "If the government wanted to truncate the MMRCA contract into a 36-fighter buy, India's interest clearly demanded that both Eurofighter and Dassault be asked for new price bids. That would have created a competitive procurement, with two rivals bidding against each other," is absolutely correct. However if the bidding process is initiated again, to finalize the bids and get new fighters may take a couple of years. By this time India will be solely on the mercy of our enemy

If no scam, why people/BJP are scared of an independent probe ?

Moreover, through this decision, technology transfer/maintenance, etc., was snatched away from state owned Hindustan Aeronautics and handed over to a private player, who do not have any expertise in this field. In addition, this decision would not only demoralise the state owned HAL, but will also cause huge otherwise avoidable burden on the exchequer later.

The revised deal would also cause additional financial implication on the exchquer.

Hence, there is nothing wrong in seeking an independent agency probe (may be by agencies like FBI, etc. as people have no faith in Indian agencies, which are likely to be influenced by BJP administration)

It would be probed when a non-BJP administration comes into power and if anything wrong had been done, then the concerned would be liable to answer.
