Wrong Surmise
by Raj Gopal on Nov 29, 2017 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

The writer is wrong in his surmise. Had it happened with his own daughter then what he would have done.

There is no need to convert in inter-faith marriage as they can marry under "Special Marriage Act".

This particular case has gained significance because the girl's studies were interrupted and was preparing to go to Syria, under present circumstances prevailing in Syria any parent would take such an action.

The Supreme court
by piri on Nov 29, 2017 02:56 PM  | Hide replies

is the final high barrier that stands in the way of the pack of jackals that are in power at the centre now.

The frustration arising from this was expressed openly just 2 days ago by the Union law minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, who vented his ire by asking the Chief Justice of India why he cant trust the Prime Minister to appoint a judge !!!

The context is the rejection by the Supreme court of the recommendation of the Modi govt to switch from the Collegium system for appointment of judges to appointment by the proposed National Judicial Appointments Commission (in which the executive would have a crucial role), thus effectively taking away the independence of the judiciary that the framers of the constitution had laid such great emphasis on.

This subtle attempt by the Modi govt to gain a say in the appointment of judges (and emulate the late Indira Gandhi) was thrown out by the Supreme court.

I understand your frustration piri. When you dont have any logical stuff or not able to articulate any points against a person , you start scolding him like donkey etc. But you should be cool and try to see whether you can write anything sensible against the man whom you dislike most.God bless you with better skills.

Brain-washed to an extent that she hates her family and faith! Pity her. will come to her senses but might be too late to repent as the road she has taken is the result of her fanatic statement to HATE ONES OWN.

We only to almighty that they both should live like a good citizens and the poor girl traooed in live jehad will not be expolited.
This is case of perhaps every house hold. When it happens in our house, what will be the action and reaction of family and parents. Than only we will realize what happens when a girl marries a man of different faith .
